Bat Outta Hell - 2003

After having fun and restoring the machine back into working order I have got no room left for the machine in my flat, as we have a child on the way. I’m looking for offers on the machine and will be able to arrange a convenient time for collection.

Fruit machine includes;
· New Power cable
· New locks and all doors (Top, Bottom and Cash doors)
· New Refill key slot with UNIQUE keys
· Pay or Free play decided by Key
· All working lamps

The machine has had a lot of time and effort put into it but I guess it’s time to move on to new things, the only reason I am mainly selling the machine is the fact I am over my gambling addiction with fruit machines.

until the possible "slipups" come,

i did the same, from £100's a week, to maybe £5 a month, then slipped n blew most wages, although having a fruit machine has actualy saved my wallet, gave the keys to someone else, filled it with plenty on payday so iv forgotten how much is in there, with an off few quid i can play and possibly gain more, but if i lose i'll know when its emptying day i'll have even more

If you have machines in the house its not the same, you think you are saving money, but after jp after jp you get bored! Then down the the pub you put your hard earned in,thinking you are at home and then think after you done your nuts, got to get that one at home so i can learn not to lose, when you got that one and get bored, back to square one!Winning your own money aint the same, thats why i play the machines on this site to stop the erdge! Unless you got a big float to play and force these machines to pay,you will never win any good amount.Correct me if i am wrong players!

i dont agree at all,

at 1 of my bad points, any change i had went into fruit machines, now only a bit of change goes into 1's that i dont own and only on 1 day a month (when i get paid)

with my machine its almost like you forget how much is in it, since i dont have the keys for it (someone else does) any loss is forgotten and i move on with the notes i have in my hand (just as if i was "losing" for real) instead of what could be in the machine.

the other day on my machine i managed to get £10 red sevens win from putting in my last £2-£3. I still look at is as having a savings bank account, a bit of odd change goes into it every now and then, and come the day i can empty it i'll have enough to buy myself something nice or use it to live on for a month so i dont have to break my wages,

yesterday i was sat in the pub next to a fruit machine, had notes on me, instead of blowing cash on it as i usually would, i bought my pint, got £1's change and waiting until i got home :D

Harsh, give the guy/girl some credit. It's not a easy path.I used to play alot and I mean alot but have cut down significantly.
To say once a gambler always one is simply not true.Would you say the same of a smoker? I know lots of people who have quit gambling after having kids or mortgages etc.:notworthy:

its all about self control,

the thing which is true is "once a gambler always a gambler" to some extent... such as if someone had a problem with gambling, and maybe overdid it (went into debt, was really addicted) then gained the self control to not gamble, the cravings will still be there, but its all about fighting them. If that person went back to gambling though and thought they had beaten the habbit, it wont take long for the addiction to come back...

so to correct that saying its more of "once a gamble, never a responsible one"
