Strictly, I'd say they're not emulations OR simulations.
They're the real things, running on directly compatible hardware. They are just standard Windows Executable programs, which rely on one or two external things.
The only thing they "look" for, which needs emulating, is the IND:E 'language' - which, from what I can gather (see previous post) is just simple responses over IP.
On the real IND:E machine (which is just a windows PC with a little extra hardware to drive a hopper and note acceptor) a piece of software will run in the background. It will keep a track of 2 main variables 'BANK' and 'CASH'. That's how ALL the games on the machine know how much money you've put in, and can share (and access) the same funds.
The mouse-pointer issue can be worked around, but it's normal behaviour - you don't need a pointer on a touch-screen, you use your finger.
I'm working on a little IND:E project at present, where the games look for the 'credit' on a different PC. This way, if you have friends over, you can fleece them for £10, and give them £10 of credit on the IND:E in your games room. If they win, you pay them back. Not sure on the legaities of it, but just a bit of fun.
Having the 48 SWPs all in one single download package will, if nothing else, hopefully lessen the "where can I get...." questions etc, IMO.
