i just seen this in the vic
IMPULSE -Keep r (or) a Reel (blue case)
anybody confirm this machine with any info on it?

It is an Impulse called Keep It Reel, never seen one in the wild but it looks very much like a Red Gaming.

Could be a machine that failed testing didn't even know impulse were making fruities anymore.Unless barcrest group have taken over em and yes it does just look like a red gaming machine.

thanks and i own a red gaming machine too... although red g is barcrest not impulse... maybe a similar case or something but insides surely arent?

well i think barcrest was its own unique company, same as impulse, red gaming, etc,
i think when barcrest became the parent company and bought em out they didnt want to merge all machines to just be "barcrest" because each of the makes of machine are well known for different things, such as red gaming machines tend to be high low cash/nudges and gamble feature when your on the board, whereas barcrest are more likely to be moving round the board picking up features/cash/nudges/bonuses on the way round
so it basically means if a buyer has always bought a "red gaming" machine because they like that style... then they still can however barcrest group will be getting the money for it

although barcrest own the various companies, afaik each company has a set of programmers and work with their own code. (some red gaming machines have different error codes than barcrest)
