If you have a refill key put it in press hold button two then turn the key this will then give you the option to decrease the sound.anyone know how to turn the volume down on barcrest mpu5

You maybe able to do it via test mode.Put the machine into test mode go through the various test untill you come to audio/volume then do it from there.damm no refill key any other way

OCD = Out of Credit Display, turns off/down the flashing lights, because the bookies thought it would distract their punters.

arent refil keys avaliable on ebay for cheap? isnt it on a 1 size fits all basis??

Best off asking on The Mecca for refill keys.
The lads there, normaly have a few knocking about, especaly the flat Lowe And Fletcher 87000 ones.

Yep one key fits all unless the barrels have been changed by the owners

Most will take a L&F 870000 flat key, but there are some that do not.
Best off checking @ The Mecca, and more often than not, one of the guys there can supply you with with an origonal one, unlike the ones you find on e-bay, and they can also make sure you get the right one.

For a short term measure, you can also short the switch out, by bridging a wire between the two contacts on the back of the key lock, or just fit a rocker switch to the back.
Though I hate using them, Maplins would be the easyist place to get a switch from.

the refill key is a lowe and fletcher 87000
and the old master locks LF 92250

Had a look at my refill key and it says camlock systems 187000 ain't got a clue what it means though lol.
