hi there i have the fruit machine called "cabin fever" by mazooma and its saying pay err 17 know i have done all i know and still cant get it to work

check the connections to the hopper and check theres no coins stuck in it

can you get the machine into test mode ( some scorp 4s show the error after they boot up

or is it just saying the error straight away

if there is no coins jammed and the hopper wont turn in test mode then you need a replacement hopper.

pm me if you need one as i have about 50 going cheap!!!

how much is i only jist got the main borad thinkin it was that and know i have this problem all the green lights are on but it boots up then says pay err 17 thanks

I doubt it .... I think this is pretty uncommon as ive never come across it but you could be right.

Optos with to much dust can act like a coin jam.

I thought the sensors were pretty decent and would easily penetrate threw dust?

Agreed but if uncleaned they can still throw up a coin jam error.

Every workshopped machine i send out gets a opto clean and this cut down non payouts by over 50%.

Just my opinion mind.

i have had this all apart and cleaned it but still dont work i have just got a new hopper so holefully this will work fingers crossed lol
