Hi To All.

My first posting here.Just got myself a Monty Python Holy Grail £25 jackpot machine.

My question is i have the decals for £5 jackpot and 10p play rather than 25p play.Is there something i can switch or change to get it at 10p play £5 jackpot??

on the gamecard on the mpu 5 board you will see 1 or 2 plug in keys sticking out.(they may be sealed or have 4 or 8 little switches on them)

these are the keys that decide what payout % your machine is set at and also the stake and prize setting.

if it is the sealed type then you need to buy a variable stake and prize key.

if it has the little switches on the key already then you just need to set it to the following

stake - off off on off
prize - on off off off

that should be 10p £5

Can I just add ....

In the top right hand corner of the machine where the speaker, coin mech and percentage sticker is there should also be a Price of play label that is changeable to 10p by pulling a little tab underneith the meter on the inside of the door at the top.

Just so people dont get confused when they think its 25p per play when its only 10p.

Thanks for your answers,Just tried your advice and the switch (only one switch) has 8 little switchs on them,Are your settings from left to right ( 1 - 8 ) as i changed them,plugged it back in and the machine stated invalid key:cry:So i wrote down the setting it was at and plugged it back in,Machine started as normal but now i'm at 30p a play :biglaugh:So wanted it to go down to 10p play and now 30p.Help me please;)

I think we should have a 'sticky' thread at the top for stake / prizes / % setting!

Hi Baz

Yes its a black switch with numbers 1-8 with small cream switchs,it states the word on at the top left side and letters rsn top right,printed on the underside of the computer board is ( s/p 100-01 ) ant the moment from 1 -8 the switchs are ( off-on-off-on-off-off-on-on )

Whats it doing now?????????
Fruitsnappa settings got me to 10p play,which is great,but i turned on the machine today and it stated in display 5.00c 10 and then the word genesis,now if i press the start button it gives me £5 credit and wont pay anything out???Is it gone onto some sort of freeplay???Help

sounds like its deffo in freeplay, make sure all doors are fully locked,

Sounds like the cash door is open mate which puts it in test mode/free credits, push it shut and lock it should solve it;)

As far as i can see all doors are locked and shut,By coin door do you mean the bottom door or the door inside the machine were the coin boxes are??will check tomoz all doors but i am sure there all shut and locked

someone only the other day had said it was all locked tightly

turned out the bar wasn't fully closed so it thought it was open

just make sure all door switches close/work properly

Aye on the Genisis One cab you can have a switch on the catch for the lock on the top door or just the same one that dectects if the actual door is open or not

Either a cables come out of one of the switches or the switch is knackard.

as everyone else says, make sure all switches are pressed in that are normall pressed in by the doors, that maybe is the problem

I have opened all doors,pressed in all the switchs a few times,shut the doors and as if by magic.Its working as normal again.Thanks again peeps and no double posts for me in the future;)

It's on Freeplay. Are the top door and bottom door definitely shut?
