Hi all, wondered if any of you could please help me.

On start up my fruit machine is displaying the message "16 note mech error" BUT it does not have a note accepter!

I only got the machine yesterday and it worked fine for a whole evening, today I pressed the dump hopper button, nothing happened - about a minute later I gave up and went to shut the door, all of a sudden all the pound coins got dispensed. Then it started buzzing loudly, flashing a lot and wouldn't initialise anymore!

I read it could be a flat battery not remembering the settings and therefore thinking I do have a note accepter. However I have no idea where the battery is or what battery i need to replace it with.

Could it be anything else?

Guessing its a dip switch been knocked, dip switch 4 i think?

Is it epoch tech?
With all the different faults I'd suspect the battery drop shit itself

I am using the same machine but doesn't have such problem. I thinks that you have to read its user manual guide. May you able to find solution.

Hi,

Yes, i've been searching for answers everywhere!

The machine is Cannonball Run by Global. I've been told it's running on epoch, all the dip switches are in the off position. It has a green battery which doesn't appear to be leaking. Occasionally it's making it past intialisation but then resets a few minutes later. During initialisation it also sometimes displays "4.8 ON/OFF ALM".

Any advice much appreciated!

when the 4.8 alarm comes on leave it to time out or it will get longer each time by 30 seconds

if the noise is a problem disconnect the speaker
