This is superstar by barcrest its set at £25 30p its a 1280 DX i have done a 1024 if you cant see the buttons on this just look in downloads this was done just for abit of fun so enjoy

I am glad to see that we as a community can now benifit from slightly larger latops and I was clearly right all along.

Cheers for the good work and looking forward to you changing your res to 1600 so you can improve some more.

Any 1024 will not have the clean crisp image of a 1280 and likewise a 1600.

Why the hell you are so obsessed with a singled out DXer is a little sad to say the least.

Bruce....give us 1024 for those with the average laptops...and not One like Yans...which I can picture being as big as the mobile on Trigger Happy!

I have not singled out Bruce. He singled out me and asked me not to comment on his releases when he allows everyone else. Again, blinkers are being worn here...

Ok Yan mate im going to try once more to explain this 95% of the Dx's i have done have been 1024 now like people have said they are NOT as clear as the 1280 and 1600 sizes its a FACT that cant be changed but the FACT is 1024's get more downloads you only have to look in downloads to see that now why do you think that is mate is it cos they look better well NO cos lets face it they DONT its cos thats what alot of people need the layout size to be now is that a good thing or a bad thing well it dont matter cos thats the way it is

when a layout creator comes up to me with a tip or a hint that i feel will help the way i do layouts i take notice cos i have NEVER said my layouts are perfect there FAR from it not if someone comes up to me and asked me can i do a layout for them in a size they want and they ask nice there im a nice guy i will do my best to help them out if i can and if i cant i will tell them to try asking someone else but when someone talks down to me and gives my layouts 1 star and says silly nasty things about stuff they DONT understand well thats going to get my back up cos you DONT understand the work that goes into a layout now i would REALLY REALLY like the chance to leave this here and move on and BOTH enjoy the site and if you AINT happy with the layouts i do cos of there size then just DONT download them

Ok, it's over.

That being said, don't you think that people will never by a quality screen if people continually make layouts for these lower resolutions?

It is a vicious circle and it needs people like you to stand proud and stand up and say "We will not give in to poor people with poor screens"...

...if they have chosen to spend their £'s on Strongbow and a packs of fags rather then upgraded their poor quality laptop, it should be them that suffer.

I smoke, I drink..........and I work bloody hard too.....and I only have a max res of 1280.

Some people may need cash just to get through the day...and getting on the net is a form of pleasure..........some i'm sure even have PC's still with a 15" Monitor.....so what...

Now if you will excuse me..........I need to drain my car of its fully Synthetic Oil as its all of 2 weeks old...sod that normal Halfords stuff...I mean £5.99 for 5lt's when I pay £34.99 for mine..............
