Nice layout Brucegeorge. Well done on this release.
The game itself though is such a terrible game. How can Barcrest, that company that has graced our lives with some of the greatest gaming machines ever made, consider this game to be an enjoyable and exciting game to play.
I remember playing this for real and the only way to play when on the feature trail, was to hope for cash knock-outs, and hope for a crafty £5 or £5 Repeat. Going for anything else was futile. It was as if every single feature on the trail would only offer £3 maximum. Nudges seldom offered more than £2, and once the £1, £1.20 and £2 cash knock-outs were used, it was either 'deadsville', which was quite the norm, or the slim chance of getting the streak.
I feel that this game could have been so much more. Instead of a quick opportunist spurt of 'non-inspiration'. A clone of 2 other machines that played identical. Barcrest should have held their heads in shame with the release of this.
Still, a great looking DX though. Well done Brucegeorge. It needed DX-ing but it's such a shame that this game wasn't even close to being good enough for your talents. 8/10 for DX. 2/10 the game itself.
