same, i hate £70jp machines and never will play em again, was thinking over the past year or so they have ripped me off outta more than £1000, never again lol

the only £70jp i even remotely liked playing on was the "red gaming casino 5 liner" played it 3 times, once i made £6 profit, the next time i broke even, then the 3rd time i played i only lost £30 lol,

avoid any £70jp or "club" machines, because they are no fun to play unless you have plenty of cash and want to give it away for free

If I owned an arcade I wouldnt use £70 jackpot machines. There just a rip off and I don think anyone would play them. I would stick to £25 and £35 jackpots and £25 multiplayers.

Wouldn't the be exactly what you wanted if you owned an arcade, since they'd be ripping people off and you'd be making money? :)

Dunno about a top 5 but the new version of Cash Attack, actually plays a pretty good game.

Typical rubbish from you lot, get with the times lol! As I said the £25/£35 jackpot machines play very similar to the £70 jackpot machines anyhow. Machines take a lot more money for pubs on £70 jackpot than they did on £35, I know this as I know all the landlords in town. This must mean people like them more, as the payout (and therefore profit) is a percentage of how much they are played, not how "good or bad" you lot think they are.

What I don't understand is how the gameplay on say a £35 DOND, red gaming, barcrest or so on differs in a better way than the gameplay on the £70 jackpots... YOU DONT HAVE TO PLAY ON £1 a go that's just an option. The board costs and frequency, and board "blocks" if you will are very similar and this comes from someone who has played both £35 and £70 machines to death.

Back to the point If you are going for a top 5 £70jp barcrests (including red gaming), this is an overview of the most current ones, which I think offer a good game:

1) Leprechauns Gold
2) Alien
3) Golden Giza
4) Elvis 5 liner
5) Count your cash, although this is a copy of a deal or no deal

lmfao... and as iv said thats bullcrap, iv already mentioned in reply to many posts of yours why £70jp machines are not like speeding up playing a £5/£256/£35jp machine, its a flawed theory and im certain 98% of this forum would also agree

I can understand the difference between £5jp and bigger jp's but not £35 to £70, the gameplay is very similar. You don't have to play on £1 a go, you can play on 50p a go and I'd say the gameplay is almost indentical based on the exact same machine on £35jp as to £70jp.

Those that think otherwise have obviously not played the machines in question so much as I have :)

I'm wondering if you can actually work up to getting a jackpot on a £70 jackpot machine. I say this as both times I've seen a £70 jackpot won, they were both from the 'Cash or Bust/Make or Break' button.

Great for the people who won those jackpots, but bad for those wanting a bit of gameplay. Am I lead to believe that you have a better chance of a jackpot from hitting the 'Cash or Bust/Make or break' button?

Oh, and do these machines still have a £5 block? Pretty much making them a £5 jackpot @ £1 per spin games?

Can't say i've seen a block on any £70 machine i've played, played a DOND on saturday then, got offered £31.xx which I took, then the very next board, £13.xx which I took and it repeated.

As for "working up" to £70, machine called Ca$hino Crazy that I played, from a manufacturer I cant remember, and dont think i've heard of, I hi/lo'd from £1 to £70 and had a choice of £70 or Ca$hino Crazy (ie the top streak, which I took) and funnily enough stopped at £70.

Unless there is something for 5 liner then i think this is more a perfect list for a players wishlist rather than an operators. But even if there was something good on 5 liner, its probably one of the worst awp out there for entertainment/value for money surely ? Give me one example why that machines in there.

I'll just pick my jaw up off the floor............................

yes but in the real world...........

At the bingo halls the £70 machines are very popular so yes you could (as we call it "do a british airways staff") and go for unpopular machines that don't make as much money - however in the real world getting some would be a good "business" decision.

If you get the Barcrest multiplay £70 video cabinets (they are called triple 7 and the games: rainbow riches/ pots of gold/ rocky/ aztec gold/ captain jackpot/magicreels/ poker/ elvis/tomb of money/ extra ball bingo/ crown jewells/ monopoly/ caShino/ wild clover etc) you also have the advantage that they are also able to be played on 25p or 50p stake - where they actually play pretty well for the money - so all the arguments about being too expensive are hogwash.

I love £3/5 jackpot machines but the only benefit for having them is the license costs in a business sense or to bring in people - arcades are businesses and still need to have earners - Although the fact they now have cahs machines in arcades is very annoying (particularly ones you have to pay a fee for using!!).

I wish they brought back the old machines on £70 jackpot, like Big Banker, Indiana Jones, Road Hog, Andy Capp, etc. They were the best.

In Southend, the £5 jackpot machines are 20p a go. Surely that's not right? 10p should be the maximum I think. If you don't win jackpot within 25 presses of the start button, you are screwed!

pretty much, although i have seen a fair few skanky £5jp machines, the 1 to truly avoid is "jackpot junction" 70%payout

got paid today and had a play on it, its a complete skank, eats £5 of your money in about 2 mins sometimes it wont offer anything, usual story is get on the board, spin, get ? within 3 spins, which kills you, if its going to play the £5 jp then it will give it to you almost instantly, repeat chance is more than likely no, from experience to get jackpot repeat often you need to whack over £15 into it and not have a jackpot, possibly ten it will offer jp repeat, but you are still £5 or so down......

that casino 5 liner skanked me outta more cash today, put bout £90 into it, was down to last few quid, won from a spin and it repeated a win a few times to win me £30, carried on, got red notation which paid £30 then got a few more wins, still was £30+ down :(

I've played some £70 machines but I stick to 25p unless 50p offers something worth playing on that stake. I'm kinda playing them as if they're £10 or £15 jackpots and I've been suprised how often they will give you around a tenner on the feature
