Which do you lot think are the best brand of fags?
Marlboro 100s, imported from america - that or Senior Service/Players/Capstans.....I've had people throwing up on them soooo easily!!!
Offered a girl a Marlboro 100 once, and she said 'Aren't these the ones that make your heart bleed??!'...She tried it anyway and I honestly thought we was going to pass out
BTW - The English Marlboro 100s have holes in the filter to comply with crazy anti smoking legislation shite.....wrap sellotape or a rizla round the filter, and enjoy

Non smokers should be greatful to people who smoke.
Who the hell do they think is paying for the NHS.
They should be made to thank people who smoke and tell them,"Thank you very much for smoking it paid for a member of my familys heart by pass last year and the intensive care treatment another member of my family got."
Non smokers should shut up and worship smokers.

I think smoking should be banned completely in public places.
In response to the above statement, what about people who earn just over 4 Thousand pounds a year and pay tax. When I am in a pub or arcade there are smokers in the arcade or pub and it stinks!

I wonder if smoker's duty covers the extra strain they put on the NHS after contracting some smoking related disease. I also hope that part of the crazy amount of Tax / NI we all pay contributes!!!
I think most none smokers would say 'Go ahead and smoke - just not next to me.'

A common misconception this one. For one, the money doesn't go to the NHS and secondly the cost of treating smoking related diseases far outweighs any duties raised by the government. I still don't have anything against smokers, everyone has a vice of some kind, drinking, smoking, gambling etc... whatever floats your boat really.

I agree although gambling and drinking only affect the participant whereas smoking affects all in the vicinity....

..apart from all the gambling addicts who feel the need to rob old ladies of their pensions just to feed it in some robbing fruity or the pi$$ heads who beat people up and then jump in their cars and plough into a bunch of kids.
Not argueing...just making a point

Fair point but you are talking of a very small minority. I bet most criminals smoke.. Stereotype maybe but whilst your point does have an element of truth most gamblers / drinkers that don't smoke or do smoke would not rob or assault anybody.....

I believe the UK Government raises more than £8billion in smoking duties and taxes,
the arithmatic therefore looks like this:
“Smoking costs the NHS up to £1.7 billion each year" [1]
Total NHS costs met by the taxpayer are estimated at £54 billion [2]
So smoking revenue covers NHS smoking costs with excess of £6.3 billion clear profit per year.
Or: Over and above covering their own costs, smokers pay for 11% of NHS costs.
Or: One in ten operations, one in ten hospitals are paid for by smoking taxes.
[1] Source: Department of Health report "Smoking Kills..”
[2] Source: HM Treasury Budget March 2000.
So where is the misconception? (asked nicely).

The stench of beer and piss when I walk in my local makes me feel sick, they should be made to take it outside.

I don't think it should be banned in working mens clubs or pubs that have more than one bar area. It fu*ks me off when somebody has stubbed out a fag on a fruity or used the coin tray as an ashtray.
It did make me smile when i went passed my local bingo arena seeing a gang of oap's huddled together outside puffing away in the rain!.

I thought this would happen. Now they've got their own way on this they want to raise the alcohol buying age to 21. If underage kids are drinking now it's going to make no difference. Only a matter of time before your only allowed 2 pints each and no more!
Ey Up!
