Got a Italian job may gay machine but got a couple of problems. First it wont display the letter "m" for some reason and i am unable to change the stake from 25
JP- 25p per play. Ideally it would be set to 25JP-10p. Thanks and Merry Christmas !

on the decal? bulb has blown

you cant have 10p/£25jp, 25p is the norm for a £25 jp machine, you can have 10p/£5jp. but that would mean changing decals as well to see right win amounts.

to change jackpot you need a specific jp "stake key" which can be bought on ebay, it goes into the main board

Thanks for your reply its not on the decal its on the little screen that displays information. Every other letter is displayed fine other than "m". and as for the stake i thought you could change it to what you wanted with the 10011001 thing like 1 up 1 down :S Thanks

if i was to buy this :Adjustable Prize / Stake Key for Fruit Machine on eBay (end time 28-Dec-09 21:31:21 GMT) would i be able to change the stake to 10p per play and the JP 25 or not. Thanks

There is no way you will beable to have 10p/£25 cash the software won't allow it.

for £25 jackpot, correct me if im worng but it tends to be 25p, 30p or 50p??

as tommy says this is the way the board is programmed, that key will more than likely work on your machine, however at £25 the possibly amout per play isnt worth changing unless your going to raise or lower the jackpot but then of course as i mention if you want to know the winning amounts without remembering them off the top of your head then you will need the decals for that jp amount

with the lcd "M" fault, to be honest perhaps its meant to be like that cause it tends to with with lcd screens its either working 100% or the whole thing is dead, its hard to think of it just messing up on 1 letter

Thanks for your help sparkz but im pretty sure its not meant to be like that, there is 1 error code and every word is displayed fine apart from m as it comes across saying maygay it says aygay instead and instead of million it displays illion. Very strange

Maybe your just in need of a new alphs display which i'm sure you'll find one on ebay or maybe baz on here may know what you need.
