Does anyone know - have Games Media withdrawn from the reel-based AWP market completely? So far as I know, they haven't had any new release since PokerFace just over a year ago.
There still seem to be a few £70-upgraded PokerFace'e left around my way (London), and the very occasional £70 Monster Cash, but that's it. These won't last long 'til Ebay beckons.
Their website doesn't even mention reel-based analogue AWPs now, only Juice platform digital games.
I know that many on here will disagree and say that the Games Media output was poorly programmed, but I really used to enjoy playing them. I know the games were badly cloned - since Juggling Jackpots/ Jackpots Rock 'n' Roll all the games have been fairly much the same, but I still found em quite playable, certainly compared to Bell-Fruit's offerings.
Am I the only one to like 'em?, and and anyone confirm that there will be no more?
I have played Mazooma's Grand Master Cash a couple of times, which is a bit similar, but it seems very tight and never goes above £100.

My local has poker face but badged under Mazooma. It's the only £70 I have played, but it doesn't play like a games media - only ever goes for £70 on the top streak on red and doesn't seem to offer more than a fiver at any other time - very poor!
Must admit, I used to like games media on £35 - often would go for £105 with the occasional £140.
And I so agree that every pub seems to have DOND or some clone or other BFM machine. Bloody Noel Edmonds!

Does look like they have gone down the video route only and ditched analogue. Will only be a matter of time before the other manu's follow suit. One cabinet fits all, saves a hell of a lot on distribution doesn't it?
I am not too bothered they have quit analogue AWP making; their programming was piss poor. Do an all out force on a £35 Billy the Quid without a note acceptor would always empty owing £15!
Does mean we are now down to two major players - expect more DonD shite from BFG and more copies from IGT!!! Oh wait, thats already happening.....

Games Media used to release analogue games for a company called AC Games. AC Games no longer exist, but as far as i know are still releasing games on the BFG platform under the name BetCom.
So no more anaolgue games from the GM boys...

As there was so much money spent on the juice system.Reel based awp`s were always going to be pushed aside in the end. Most of us in this game know.As for bellfruit if you spent over £400k to use rights of dond sounds, art work, ect your going to milk it.
