Took the plunge into 7ness since a certain 'gaming' HDD fooked my system.

Very impressed so far and much better than Vista.

Right minor irritation #1. Anyone know how to add 'buttons' to the bar in the Windows Explorer like you could in XP? Bits circled in the pics. I'm mainly after having a 'delete' button instead of right clicking.

the delete is when you drop the organise pane on the left.. (after highlighting your item.. of course)....bit of a pain cos its that one extra movement that annoys me too!..you could always highlight..then hit del.. then ent.. on the keyboard..as my 2 keys are next to one another...but i DO prefer a delete on the top bar too:cry:

i gave windows 7 64-bit pre-activated a whopping 8 days before i wiped it and went back to xp pro.

im sure the day will come when support for xp will stop, but for now im sticking with it. things like having messenger on the left and multiple windows now grouped up under the E logo - irritate the hell out of me.

I've just drawn a big red X on my screen with a marker pen, that will do the trick.
