When i download some files and extract them, some ask for passwords.. not many, but theres a few i have downloaded now that ask for passwords.. so just wondering what i can do to get around this? or the even better the password... if your after the machine its the QPS golden grid 1024 and theres also a barmy army one that i have a problem wiht too. thanks in advance.

I'd be amazed if any file here is password protected from the download section.

its strange though because other people have downloaded it fine, by reading the comments there all delighted with the downloaded...maybe its some sort of software or download i do not have??

I presume you know you need winzip to extract the files. no other software is needed for the downloads on this site.its strange though because other people have downloaded it fine, by reading the comments there all delighted with the downloaded...maybe its some sort of software or download i do not have??

Yeah Matty..but thats winrar though..not winzip.
Sorry..just being pedantic.

i dont see the difference between winrar/zip
apart from the fact that rar does all those file types as opposed to zip

I dont think there is any real difference either TBH.
They both do the exact same job..just different programs and user prefrence i spose.
I have always used Winrar..but people swear by Winzip.

I'm a strange one and have both installed...... no reason but personal preference.... they both can do the same thing.
