Just purchased a variable stake and jackpot key for my Maygay London Underground machine. However, having put it in, and setting the dip swithces correctly, it fires up with a 'Stake Key Error/49'. Just wondering if the machine is not compatible with Epoch, or it's a faulty key?

It could be that your trying to put it on a stake and prize that the software is not compatible with.Just purchased a variable stake and jackpot key for my Maygay London Underground machine. Thanks for your replies. I am trying to set it to 25p/£15, this is exactly the same as the fixed key which I already have in it; which is why I can't work out why it's showing an error! Spoke to the company who I bought it off, we did a bit of troubleshooting, but they are sending another. Hopefully it may work.
