Hi All,
New member, just joined but been reading posts with interest.
I have a Coronation Street machine,Scorpion 5,that I cann't open up.
Key turns ok but the release knob only moves a couple of millimetres so not releasing the catches ?
Is there another way into it so that I can oil the levers etc.

Not much help this but my Space Raiders wont shut properly !
Sounds a bit like yours where the catch and key only turn 80% of the way round.
I get this and that alarm going off on it in one day ! Never had any problem with it whatsoever since i got it a couple of years back.
Typical.
