Hi Folks
I am converting my Bellfruit LOTR two towers club to £500 jackpot
It requires a second hopper which I have got off e-bay, but cannot get the machine to run it.
The Existing hopper is Azkoyen part 41086501-2 and the new one 41147331-1
They look similar, but the existing one has "Mode" jumpers and the new one dip switches.
I have tried dip switches in all combinations and I have tried swapping the connections between hoppers and tried the new one on its own, but in test mode the motor does not run and display says "Hopper empty"
Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you

Don't they also need £500 software? (Normal software only going as far as £250 Jackpot), as well as dual hoppers.
Baz would be best for this.

Sorry, I should have said I have the software (and decals) and it runs fine.
It's just the issue with the hopper. Thanks anyway.

That new one you have is a cctalk hopper I think,
Don't know about the original one, but how many wires run to the connector on the original - as it might be running in parallel mode (which is why the new one wouldn't work)
Also what coin is the 2nd hopper meant to take, as the dip switches set the cctalk address according to coin type

Hi Roderz
I have been doing some more research and yes it is CCTalk hopper. The Plug is the same, but the pin connections are different. There are only Power, GND and data inputs on the new one.
I have spoken to the person who sold me the Hopper and he is going to send an alternative for me to try that has the same part number as my original, so we'll how it goes.
Thanks for your response

Sound like you need a parallel one then, I think!
