sorry sparkz i meant to ask do i need to redo emptying the hopper? what i mean is, i did what you said the last time with emptying the hopper then filling it and pressing the hopper full key. When i now reset the the ram by removing % key as per your instructions do i need to redo the hopper again? or do i just reset the ram and carry on as normal?

nope, you shouldnt need to...

i remember a discussion ages ago here where someone said replacing % or stake keys resets it so it plays very "tight" at first, then as it levels out it will play exactly as its meant to play...

so the logic with that is taking out the key, booting, turning off, putting key back in and powring back up will do that completely for you

from experience on doing this when i started playing again once i did that it wasnt paying out... £30+ in and only got on the board twice which killed me before offering anything decent.. after about £70+ worth of plays it should revert to the % and will play just like a machine at the pub


edit: read your other post... thats exactly like me... especially silver coins they jsut end up going on rubbish... so collecting them up is the best way

whats your % stake key by the way?? maybe investing a few quid in a 70% key may be a good idea because 70% machines are known to be tight (i.e in the arcade theres a jackpot junction machine at 70%, £5jp... not many people play it cause everyone knows full well to get £5jp on it you need to whack in at least £10-£15 lol)

and thanks for the info although i dont understand all of it! lol, i basically got this machine to use as a fancy bank for my home because i am always spending my loose change on crap! lol so my partner bought me this for chrimbo and it has worked a treat, last count last night was hopper full so thats £125 and have loads of silver and about £33 coins in bottom, i would just have spent that on crap! i just wanted the machine to play like the ones in the pub, you know put in £20 coins and dont even get on the board! lol or if you do its £1 or £2 but my one last night was paying out £65 on repeat chance and then £10-£12-£6-£15, wish that was in the pub:D!

It must of been due a big payout then, machines have batterys in them and as long as the batterys giving out a current the machine will remember for months without being turned on. When I got my Invincble it was off its tits straight away, but the gamplay is all the same on red they just build up for ages then payout like £100 quid wins

hi there,

ok so i got home and tried the reset ram by taking out % key, problem is when i take out the % key my machine still plays and no error comes up, the blue light that used to say 78% is now out but the machine will play??? any ideas?

hi,

yeah, i followed the earlier post, open machine, take out % key, turn machine on, should show error, my machine didnt, i did close up machine before turning on though? dont know if that matters or not?

Don't know if this has been posted but here goes. Reds have a strange way of float keeping i think the reason they do this is so they don't run out of £ coins when the machine isn't fitted with a note acceptor or tanned by the pro's.

It works like this well on the ones iv'e played and on my red machine,say your machine is floated up to the correct amount(£125) when playing the machine the coins you put in will then get routed to the cash box.Now with reds instead of deducting the money from the float when you collect your money it does it as soon as it's banked it,so lets say it was backing then you banked an £8 win without collecting it the next £8 you put in will go into the hopper but you'd expect it to go to the cash box.

Now collect your £8 out put it back in and they will drop down the back as it's kept it's float from the previous money you put in.A very clever and crafty way of doing things but makes it harder to empty the machine,hope that makes sense lol.:)

Yea thats because the dip switch for direct payout has been switched on if you have a manual for the machine that will tell you which one it is.

The only % you can set via the dip switches is the odd 1% which say your machine is set at 88% it will now be 89%.Your better off with an adjustable % key which you can buy off ebay or maybe some of the fellas on here may have one for ya.With the switchable % key you can set it to 70% upto 98%.
