the casino ive frequented a few times has a club crazy fruits (same as the old grannies version where you get the 3 keys for the streak) and its 50p per play with a £2000 jackpot. Funnily enough never seen anybody win the jp!!

Isnt Ten Bob £10?

That question is rhetorical by the way.

I apologise for my awful username and previous posts from 13 years ago. I was a misguided chav.

I have no idea about old money :)

Never seen a machine over £250 jackpot, but noticed on eBay there have been several old Maygay machines on £1000/£2000 chips - betcha they would break down if you win the JP :)

Seriously, ok, its not THAT old, but

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...85&category=575

looks bloody scary to me!!

Why did it go for so much money? Surely you just need any Club jackpot machine redecalled and maybe higher floats / different hoppers?!

A "bob" was a shilling equivalent to 5p therefore "ten bob" is 50p which was correctly stated.

Nah, most are £200 and £100, normally one of each per club, i.e £200 Thunderbirds, £100 Fast Fruits.

Personally, I'm too scared of machines over £25, which are bad enough in themselves. Trust me, when I got me first £100 streak out of a BFM I thought I was gonna have a heart attack - mind you, I was 15 at the time, and £100 was a lot of money :)

Won £1000.00 from Club Gladiator in a casino. Only put £80.00 in to get it. Nice.

a lot of the new £1000 & £2000 machines are now video screen displays and not real reels. and they eat your money. have won 3 times now, but i dread to think how much ive lost over the years.
ive heard a rumour that since the gambling laws have been changed we may be seeing £25,000 jackpots in casinos in the next couple of years in the uk. :D
betting shops have already got £50,000 roulette machines.
so bring on the fruities. it will save me going to vegas.

ive seen £500 and £1000 jp's on p and o ferries from dover to calais ive neverplayed one though i'd much sooner stick to 25jp and get ripped off a quid rather than £10

in whiteacres in cornwall they have a £250 jp (can't remember the name of it) i spent about £8 on it and got £30 and gave up at that and watched rugby instead

some twat went on after me put in £6 and got £720 back
just one more quid and i'll call it a day!!

£250 Jackpot and it paid out a total of £750 (£30 to u + £720 2 whoever)
thats 3x the jackpot! Can one of these machines hold that amount of coin in its tubes? :bigups: or is it a typing error? :eusa_doh:
