Hi there, Just a quick question...
How likely is it to fit a Fruit machine into a ford focus (old shape) I am going to collect a "Billy the quid" fruit machine and wondered whether I would get it in my car without using a trailer. Any ideas if it should fit??
Thanks in advance,
Cheers, Jamie

i doubt very much that it will fit with the boot shut i had a ford escort estate and only just managed to fit a club monty python in that. i suppose that if you drove with the boot open but tied down with those bungee straps hooked onto boot door and under the bumper for saftey you may do it.
i would suggest getting the dimensions of the fruity cabinet and then measure the space in your car before transporting.

If I remember right what Mike (DT's mate) said to me once, when he visited me here, it's a tight squeeze, but he has managed to get mpu5 horizon type cabs into his Focus before (One at a time), but you will deffo need an extra pair of hands on standby, and drive slow (The arse end of his car, was kissing the floor a fair bit!).

Me and my mate bought 'Fun on the Run' by Project Coin many years ago from a local arcade. Managed to get it on the back of my uncle's truck and then get it into the house by wedging a skateboard underneath it.
The skateboard was mullered afterwards! I was living at home at the time and it sat in the kitchen. Mum wasn't impressed.
I should have kept it as it was in great condition. Would love to play it now.

Awesome, thanks for the help guys. Ill just risk it with a few bungee straps and hope for the best. Wont need a trailer at least, that's what I was hoping. And its not an estate car, just regular unfortunately
Thanks again, Jamie

Just to let you know, managed to get my fruity in my ford focus.. boot open and strapped with bungee ties but still got it in lol..
Its Jackpots that rock n roll by global. Good machine for home use I think..
Does anyone know if variable %age keys work in these machines. As the key that is in it is 80% and cant be switched.
Also, is this "one-stop" tech reliable?? As this is what the sticker inside says it is.
Thanks. Jamie

eclipse.... the spawn of epoch....
but it is reliable tech when it comes down to it, the only bad thing is that boards tend to cost about £50 for a working one & i dont see them too often on feebay

Hahaha.. There was no way id get 2 in my car.. Struggled getting the one in.. But looks a little bit bigger than those two.
Yea Matty it is a good machine to play, plenty of features and gameplay. Sounds are good and does very good mega-streaks. Dont think it has an IM (At least not seen one yet) which is a shame IMO lol. Yea seen some keys on ebay for about £4.50, just wanted to make sure they worked before buying.
Thanks guys
Jamie

they do have an IM but he name doesnt flash
its knowing what it does when it 1st starts, i read something that told you if its an IM or not based on the 1st few moves
& the keys on ebay should fit as they are generic afaik

There are two IM types.
One where the JTRAR name at the top of the cash stack flashes, but so far as I remember, not the name at the top of the machine.
The second is a hidden IM (or almost). If you land on a "?" on your first go (2 or 11 from memory) you should survive and if you keep playing it will let you get the feature. On the hidden "IM" it can - and often will - still kill you if you gamble hi/low (e.g. trying to use the bonuses to turn the main JTRAR feature red).

Wicked, thanks for the info, I will look out for that one.. Thought I was on a hidden IM yesterday because it gave me "feeling hot" which is where all features etc are red from the start. and it kept moving to Super shots and nothing else until I got the big one. Not seen any flashing yet, but will buzz it up loads more and see what happens. Is a really good machine actually..
Couple of my reels grind a little bit when they spin, any simple solutions to this. reel 3 and 4 make a slight grinding sound which in a quiet room is very noticeable.
Thanks again, Jamie

You would think that the "HOT HOT HOT" feature entry is an IM for all the fuss it makes, but it's not (unless you get the "?" first spin).
How bout some WD40 on the reels? Might do the trick.
