Its been a while since we had the Chav/Ned/Junkie/Prick stories in arcades would be good to hear any new stories about experiences in the Arcade/Bookies of someone pissing you off are “helping you out”.

The one that never seems to fail is if you’re on a party time and you get nudges and you just us all 3 nudges down so on the reels you have X O X and someone will come over and start pretending they know the reels and saying let the nudge timer run out and it will ALWAYS bring the other X down! I believe if its going to bring the X down it will give you a hold after the nudges and I cant be bothered waiting on the machine timing but that’s what I think and I am the one playing the machine after all.

I let the Xs drop all the time, it's a bit complicated making sure the other symbols aren't in the way. If someone doesn't want to let them drop, then fair enough.
TBH I haven't been hassled by them in arcades for a while! Well in Brighton I got told that I had an IM on a Red(doesnt happen) and the others that just try and make conversation with you. Normally if this happens I just let loose into a bunch of un-understandable chat with lots of swearing about machines that and losing this etc...then they get bored lol

but i did have some annoying bullshitter in this arcade, he wasnt playing the machines but watching his mate... then was telling me how once at this service station he aparantly put in 50p into a £35jp machine, then said after spinning it offered him jackpot which repeated 6 times....lmao

i couldnt be arsed to argue so i just agreed with him

I think the older you get the less they come over and watch/shark you.

I dont live in a seaside town so there are no arcades round here just over 21's arcades and im hardly ever in them..once/twice a month if that.

If we are somewhere such as Blackpool/Wales or wherever as it has happened before..usually its my lad that will be playing a fruity and they all start swarming like flies round shite..offering 'advice' naw dont hold that..let it spin etc.

Ive been teaching..well not teaching him perhaps the wrong word to use..dont want him to end up like me in my addict days..showing him how to play the fruitys properly for the last X amount of years..so i think he knows what hes doing with them.

Usually if they are all round the machine..ill walk over..go 'excuse me lads'..stand next to my lad so they cant see the machine..and if they continue to stand about..just turn round and say..'is there anything i can do for you guys likes ?'..'one of them will say 'no..not really'..well piss off then.

They walk away tails between thier legs..and ill go play another fruity but always keep an eye on my lad.

Some reds do have an IM of sorts. If you go high or low and get it wrong but the machine lets you continue the you can't lose.

There is some local 'resident expert' of Rainbow Riches in one of the local arcades.

Always bragging about how much he's won etc etc but I spent 3 hours odd in there once and he didn't put a single pound coin in the machine

Also funny how people sat on either side of you are glued to their machines then as soon as you win big start small talk with you!

so there is not a single FME'r who didn't 'know the reels' when they were younger, I used to earn my bus fare home, chip roll and have a few tokens to play when helping a newbie win the odd Jackpot or 7....

I think the older you get the less they come over and watch/shark you.

Around here, the OLDER you are the more likely you are getting sharked.. Very much the attitude that the older you are, the less likely you are to know what your doing and spunk all your money into the machine..

True..that could be the mindset of some of them.

Then they have to remember that you were playing fruitys before they were even a sperm cell.
