Hi guys
im back on here asking questions again. ive just been and purchased a barcrest vamp it up (cheap) with all keys good condition but no manual can any one help me out with one? i cant figure out how to dump the hopper and clear all the readings ie' coins in/out, notes in/out as there has been a note acceptor on it in the past (not fitted now) plus dil switch settings.
Kind regards Mick.

you wont be able to clear the cash in/out readings unless you buy a brand new meter.(which i can supply)

pm me if interested.

Plus MPU5 does not use dils to enable the note accepter, you have prob still got the note acc loom in the mpu.

Hi Starleisure
Thanks for the info, so if the looms plugged into the MPU5 even though there's no acc on the other end it would still think that its there?
Kind Regards Mick.

Hi Baz
Thank you for the info. its not the seperate meters i want to clear its the cash in/out and notes in, and change out that show up on the alpha display in the menu's i presume they have been there from when the machine started its life. also Baz can you give me some info about percentages the machine is set on 70% i plugged it in when i 1st got it back home i put £32 coins in via refill key my mate comes along puts some money in and won £25 then my son went on it with a pound and won the another £8 i was gutted to say the least. is this because the chap i bought it off as banged loads of cash into it and the machine now thinks its rich so is paying out like mad? if this is the case does it mean i have to clear the ram if so can you tell me how to do it please.
Kind regards skint Mick lol.

yeah to clear the seperate cash in/out and notes in/chnge readings you still need a new mete(little black box up beside the coin mech attached to the top glass)

you will need a variable % key to change any % on your machine.

i think you were just unlucky with the payouts as its very hard to tell when the machine will pay or not as the % runs over a very long period so you may find the machine pays out lots and then takes it in for a while or might just give wins every now and again and run more steadily.

are there any little plugs with dil switches plugged into the mpu5 board?

Do you mean you are letting people win/lose cash on the machine? I don't really think you should use it for that mate. It's not cool to be taking money off your friends using a fruit machine. Refund people's losses and make sure they refund you any wins.

If you must use it that way, make sure you have played it yourself first and bled it dry

Can you post the in and out meter readings for us? baz will most likely be correct - it just so happened that the machine was ready to pay.

Hi Baz
thx again for the info. If you are reffering to the percentage key with dil switches yes there is one in the machine and its set at 70%. All is fine now machine settled down, with the exception that it still thinks theres a note acc fitted, i cant find where the loom plugs into the mpu5 any sudgestions would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards Mick.
