Fitted a new Memory card to day to a Bell fruit "the prize is right".

swappped out all the mem chips to the new card no probs.

Booted her Up i get

Sound Error 98
Gen Meter err 60

I checked out the MPU Bord (think thats what is it called) and the battery has been leaking could this cause the faults above.

Since sawpping the mem bord these errors are diffrent from before. I tryed doing the reset by pressing the red Button on the MPU bord and allso tried the test green button on the MPU bord with no luck.

Im not a pro just trying to see if i can get this up and running. thank you.

have you made sure you have put the chips in the correct way and not upsdide down.

for example the little notch on the chips should match the outline on the card.

Yeh they were taken out 1 at a time and placed back in the same way they were taken off the old card. What supprised me of the mem chips has a leg missing but since it was working in the old card before i presume this is oky..

i would be very suprised the chip would have worked with a leg missing.

Ill get my ass into gear tommorw and make a mock leg for it and see if it works . if it does then the So called engineer who buggerd it up in the first place messed it up. he was the idot who buggerd up the momeny bord in the first place..

Ive allso got to pick up a Simpsons fruit machean tommorw i just wont off ebay for £35.00 fully working ..

Hmm oky what type of memory chips are used on the bords and were can i by blank ones lol and were can i get a cheap programmer.
