Here's an interesting question. In the 80s before the likes of windows etc. What software did the fruit machine companies use to write and emulate games for their machines? the likes of pcp and jpm etc? i've always wanted to ask the question...

I'm just guessing here mate but seeing as how basic bandits were invented in the 20's or before...it's got nothing to do with software packages....and it's more to do with electronics? I'm probably totally wrong though

I remember seeing some huge DEC kit at one place,
