Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the error I'm getting on my new Cash Attack machine is please?

Nothing on display just "Hey Check It Out". Error code on MPU5 is 5 red flashes then one green flash continually, no variation.

Have I bought a dud. Saw working and just transported and cleaned before error ocurred. No alphanumeric or bootup at all.

Please Help.

I wouldnt say you have bought a 'dud'. Machines commonly break during transport, especially if its quite old.

Thanks for the quick reply Baz. I reseated the gamecard to no avail I'm afraid. Is there anyway I could find out what the 5 red LED error is?

I'm think that the MUX unit is the reel driver and its def there and connected. As this machine has 3 reels plus a fourth in the top glass, could it be either of them which relate to this fault do you know? Thanks so much for the info.

Thanks, found the board in question on the top glass. Status light is flashing green and other LED is steady green. Remade all cons and checked fuses ok. Any other ideas, could the transport have damaged this board do you think or is it a wiring problem normally?

Just a quick update, I have tested all cabling and checked for dry joints, The status LED on the MXU is pulsing and the loan power transistor with heat sink is quite hot. If this lamp controller board is faulty does anyone know where I might seek a replacement please? It the 2002 MXU5E variant. Thanks.:undecided:
