No idea why anyone bothers to play these new "Video Format" £70 machines --- If people read the info they will see that they are "RANDOM" (the same way the £500 machines are)..... you could in theory win £70 on every spin or you could plough £100s in the machine and never have a win.

I play £70 Barcrests quite often at my local bingo club as I used to be a £500 S16 addict but find the £70ers seem to offer a lot more in terms of payouts (For example I can put a £20 in and take £70 on £1 stake, in the end it means I come out with more than I would if I stuck £100s in a S16. In fact yesterday I found Rainbow Riches POG on £70 had a repeat feature, which amazingly repeated 3 times for a total win of £210 after £10 in).

But I'm not saying it is a guaranteed winner by any means...I once stuck around £140 in one and went away with nothing, since I kept gettng small wins and playing them back in! (When you put in double what 1 jackpot would pay you're an idiot!)

I think the disclaimer at the start of every game mentions 'Random' but also 'May be influenced by previous play'. Although I pay bugger all attention since I've won £70 2 spins in a row a couple of times.

At the end of the day though, would have been better staying well away!

That's the problem with these no hold ones. A lot of the time, wins are auto-banked/transferred. So you're more likely to disreguard the win I find. Especially if it's a £70. £2 is a fraction of the payout so you'd ignore it. But ignore enough frequent £2s and play em back, you got a machine playing roughly to percentage.
I've heard of a LOT going in these video machines, 400 or so until JP appears and that. The cycles are a lot bigger then your standard £70 I find.

This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.
If you are more interested in playing modern machines,

(DOND is around now on this site..... How long was this sig out of date...!)

Sorry not logged on over the weekend so I know i'm a bit late bothering to reply to this thread but I thought I'd chuck my tuppence worth in.

As you may remember we've had this argument before about tips and cheats on this board and peoples reactions to them, I know it states in the rules about not asking but as I know from my site, rules & announcements rarely get read by new members, they just see a fruity forum, register, then see Real Fruit machines and so jump in feet first and ask for tips.

Now personaly I don't see much wrong with the OP's post other than the caps lock problem, he's not asked how to cheat the bandit, he's had a moan about a new style bandit and was just asking if anyone knows anything about it that might help him lose less money apart from just not playing it (Which in this instance is the only way not to lose)

Also only 1 person (Crazybar) actually knows what he's on about, so if you aint got a clue what he's talking about, your reply's just aren't gonna help.

The fruit machine in Question is Elvis 5 liner by barcrest, a clone of casino 5 liner and there's also a Rainbow riches version aswell as Bellfruit doing there own version called Bullseye.
These are a new bread of fruit machine not seen before, and they're refered to a Mid-tech because there's a mix of both Lo & Hi-tech.
Stakes are 25p/50p £1
There's 5 reels instead of the standard 3
There's your normal Hi-tech style feature board to be had.
Now playing on 25p if I remember correctly means you can't get the feature as the joker symbols aren't enabled
50p play enables the joker symbols but on the winline only
£1 play gives joker symbols in view enabled (Elvis will have different symbols probably gold records)

There's no hold buttons or hi/lo buttons so any win that drops in goes direct to your bank
There's a repeat chance button that will sometimes give multiple repeats of whatever win has dropped in

Basically it's a really bad fruity that can take a lot of cash off you, the age old "Forcing" which has worked on some fruits over the years can be very dangerous on this because you can't stop it collecting the numerous little wins that drop in, and being a % based machine, not a random machine this runs the % down all the time.
Playing on 25p is pointless because you can't get a feature and the win amounts are very low 50p/£1/£2/£5 something like that.

My tip for you pal is to stay well away, they are far more Lo-tech than Hi-tech as I found out for myself, I put about £120 in to get £70 back. I've not touched 1 since.

These machines cannot possibly be 100% random if they obey a set %.

Spot on darienne,

i played a £70 cashino the other day and put £180 in without any win over £12. another £20 led to another and then i was eventually £320 in on a £70 jackpot machine. I eventually got the bank up to £250 and then i got the jp+jp+jp so it was £460 in the bank (auto payout!). though this was a very very lucky recovery, i could have left the machine for someone else to streak for £460, which is a collosal ammount for a mere £70 jackpot. though my story is a profit of £140, i`ll never play a video based £70 eveer again.

They stole them off the machines in the dead of night..like your caps lock key from your keyboard.

I dont normally post on Fruit-emu but that has to be one of the best replies I have ever seen.

The machine the OP spoke about isn't random.

Random machines, however, can, and do (even the ones in Las Vegas), have an aiming %age, as has been discussed, at length, before.
