Hi All,
Not sure who your favourite comedian is. Richard Pryor, Jimmy Carr, Ross Noble?
Fact is, IMHO, this guy is probably the brightest new talent the UK comedy scene has had for a long time.
If you've seen Kevin Berrel Live then you'll know what I'm talking about.
If not, check out his mesmerizing performance on Youtube:
Cheers,
Reg

Dara O'brien, Frankie Boyle or Rod Gilbert are my favorites at the moment.
Slightly going off Russel howard and Michael Mcintyre doesnt seem to have come up with anything new since his last tour.

I think without a doubt that Billy Connolly is Britains best comedian, the amount of times he has had me holding my guts crying with laughter is too many to mention.
As for up and coming talent i think you cant go wrong with Tom Stade, check him out here and here
Shoo.

Frankie Boyle is funny as hell. Such a shame he ain't on 'Mock the Week' anymore.
Lee Evans is good too. Went to see him at the MEN Arena a year or so ago.
Everyone is raving about that Michael McIntire bloke. Although I will say he does have his moments, basing his whole act on the presumption that middle and working class people find a posh sounding bloke who acts like an idiot, as being funny, he's not going to hold that up for long. He's pretty much a real life 'Tim Nice but Dim'.

I like Lee Evans loads. Watched all his stuff time and time again. Still makes me laugh, and seen him live twice.. Amazing comedian.
Dont mind Dara O'brein, michael mcintryre, russel howard tho, all pretty good too.
Although I think they (except Dara) have had their finest moments..
I also find most of Jimmy Carr's stuff pretty good.

It depends on the style of comedy...
As a straight stand-up, and classic one-liners, Jimmy Carr is the best in the country imho.
Tim Minchin is also extremely funny, but he does a lot of music based stuff, similar to a young Bill Bailey.
Ed Byrne is a great comedian, his stand up is a lot better than I thought it would be. The DVD cover of "Different Class" makes him look a bit corny, but the comedy is really good.

Hard for me to decide which is my all-time favourite stand-up comedian but here's a couple I enjoy watching on DVD regularly: Lee Evans and Roy Chubby Brown. Would love to see these live but I have high-tone sensory lost in both ears (deaf, to the uninitiated lol) so would be waste of time. So DVD with subtitles and I'm sorted lol.

says it all:-
Cyberpunk:- alienated loner who lives on the edge of society in generally dystopic future where daily life is impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body.....Hmmmmm
