saw this on ebay never seen or heard of "COOL" before its in a barcrest horizon cab so i assume its one of there companies?????

I thought Cool did Billy the Quid and Bucks Bunny. I believe they are associated with Global Games, although they could be a privateer. Barcrest might have swallowed them up, or maybe they bought some cabinets from Barcrest?

Cool Games is a subsidiary of Global Games which is now called Games Media.

yeh they seem to have got 2 or 3 machines but i live up in the shetland islands so it takes about 4 years for us to get any new tecnology up here......... for example my local just got rid of a barcrest high flyer bout a month back as it was costing them to much to repair and everyone made a fuss as it was the first to be replaced with a £35.00 jackpot machine alot of the pubs round here still have old 15 quid bandits as there view is that if it aint broken dont fix it

anyone know if they are any use as far as playability or does it just play like an actual global, i actually got excited when they said on their website that it was ex extream developers and programers and now its blody global .........pah

That is correct


although games media & cool have both released in Bellfruits Eclipse (best cab ever) & the standard epoch cab

never ever seen one in a horizion (worst cab ever)

i find they're uncomfortable to play also the buttons are clunky & horrible

and i've never played the game in question

never seena cool games machine before today

but i'd assume its regular games media

The game play is pretty dire to be honest. There was an array of Cool Games around my area about 18 months ago - lots of Billy the Quid and Bucks Bunny. It was usually a case of £3 boards and ridiculous streaks; with nothing in between. You only have to be reminded that a few companies were flogging these on ebay for about £140 (at £35 jackpot), which at the time was pretty cheap - so from that, make your own mind up
