The latest games within the Iconic sb franchise of Barcrest:

includes: PotsofGold, Elvissmashhits, King of the Aztecs, ReelBingo, captainjackpots, monopoly easystreets etc.

I actually think that these machines are pretty good. Although they are up to £1 stake I think at 25p play they offer a really quite good game. For example the monopoly easy street has all the usual features like nudge/holds but you also have the aztec type 5 reel games where for the 25p play you can win up to £70 repeats. My mom has really been playing these quite a lot and compared to the £1 machines she had been playing save her a lot of money as at 25p a go it can last a while, there are also a few on there you can play at 10p per spin. So to say that all the new machines are not as good as the old ones isn't true in my opinion (although you don't get as long for your money still I think they have redressed the gap a little).

Has anybody else any experience of the iconic platform and what do you think?

£70 Pots of Gold is dreadful. It states compensated but may as well be random. It can happily take £400 for no pots and regular does £100 for only a couple of £2 wins, this is on a £70 jackpot machine remember. It just feels too brutal. Same for many other Barcrest £70s. I won't bore you with the details, but stick to emulation or tuppenny nudgers, these videos may look pretty, but they're dreadful games. Of course you may get lucky and I'm sure I'll get the replies of I put £3 in for £210 hail forth, but for every one of those replies there will be ten more people sitting quiet thinking I put in £400 for £70, thought as it was compensated it had to pay, then put another £400 in for £70 no repeat AS THAT'S THE TRUTH WITH THESE GAMES - yes I'm grinding my axe, but not without a resonance of TRUTH - stay away!!

Stay away!!!

Seen that monopoly take £60 without a single win @ £1 a go!!

60 spins and not one win !!! :Randy-git:

even on a B3 that would be bad but on a £70 jp - FFS - it should have had a mask on!!

Then after another £5 in gives a £1 win - exchange to board - 1st move DEAD!!

Yeah they can be brutal - but definitely think the 25p play is much better - seem to get lots of little wins too. And pots is pretty abysmal on any stake- monopoly and king of the aztecs etc. at 25p play seems to last my mom for ages.

Hi guys!

just read this post and i was curious, do people actually put £400 in these machines? now please no one miss understand me, i am not judging anyone in any way at all,
i am simply curious as to why with a £70 jackpot you would give the machine £400? is there anyway you get it back? or is it well i put this amount in so i might as well keep going? once again please dont any you guys take this the wrong way, i am not being judgmental.

on £1 stake seen people put that through many times (not sure why), although on a repeat I have seen the £210 come up loads of times too (my mom has had it on 25p play a few times on the 25p version of Cashino).

Whilst I cannot directly confirm it, one way or the other having not seen it wiht my own eyes, I can confirm that I have seen in excess of £200 go in a £0.10 play £2 jackpot machine over 20 years ago, so yes I am quite sure you could put £400 through a £1 play quite easily. The speed of play, with no wins, would probably do £400 in 10 - 15 minutes at most I expect.

10 to 15 minutes? That is sick. You could fly somewhere in Europe and have a weekend holiday for less than that

Mummy Money and Extra Ball Bingo seem to be the better games on these machines, although I've been stung by both before.

And I gave up the gambling now as it was just money in money out money in money out I was never in front :)

Whats the point in fruit machines having reels, wins and a feature board? They give you the impression that YOU can influence things. That YOU yourself can increase what you would otherwise have won. Watching a Deal or No Deal clone machine that a friend was playing a couple of months ago offer bugger all on all 3 times he got feature entries within his £20 limit at 50p a go, Then on the last go, after predictably landing on a question mark with nothing more than £3 built on the board, in sheer frustration, he hit the 'Cash or Bust' button and it landed on the £70 jackpot. Now what's all that about?

since they are random machines (depending on whether they are set at random or percentage on these ones) your decisions and random actions can actually have an effect on gameplay now.

These machines are a f*****g joke! i miss the 5jp machines, you dont get them in my town anymore, Just these ITBOX style puggy machines are rip the pish out you, i sat watched a guy put 20 pound note after 20 pound note into one, i swear he musta put about 200+ and got nothing.
Also just got these Pots of gold 4 player in at 50p and One pound a go. Fruit machines have lost the will to live and its not about fun etc now, just about the company s trying to make mega cash as quick as they can, sickening.

All i can say is thanks for Emu's they have saved me alot of cash!! i never play any these modern fruit machines etc utter pish!! Rant over lol
