I really have no idea what is involved in creating a fruit machine emulation.
I am just interested in why all the emulations i can find are of old fruit machines,is it that its not possible to do the newer £35 and £70 machines?Or is it more a legal issue with the copyrite?
I know most people comment of how bad the DOND machines are but i love them cant enter a pub with one without playing it,when if ever are we going to see emulators of this type of machine?

Hi

Whenever someone types the word DOND here, god kills a kitten. It's the most requested emu from new forum members. From what I've read there's a few reasons why it's not around.

1. The roms are not available and it's not allowed for legal reasons, I think it's about a 4 year wait or something.

2. Someone has to write an emulator to support it, that takes time and effort and some poor bugger has to do it for nothing.

3. Most people prefer the older machines as the software is superior to all the clones of the same machine that do the same old thing, ie: boring.

If there's any other reasons, I'm sure some kind person will type it below.

well there all ready to be made just need a emulator to run them in , your should search other dond threads before posting about this as im pretty sure it comes up at least once a week or more
