If they state that they are random then I don't see why they are not. Take Roulette in real life, the odds are against you from the start....just think of the odds in the machines view.
Bets Placed on: (one of which wins) Odds paid
Single number 35 to 1
Any of the 12 numbers in the horizontal row 2 to 1
Split (two numbers) 17 to 1
Vertical row (three numbers) 11 to 1
Corner (four numbers) 8 to 1
1st, 2nd, and 3 rd Column 2 to 1
1st, 2nd, and 3 rd Dozen 2 to 1
Low Half, High Half, Black, Red, Even, Odd 1 to 1

they are meant to be random.
i have not played the £50,000 roulette machines in bookies but they are the same as the casino machines but without a live camera above the table. so they may be on a fiddle

Dont all machines have to pay out a certain amount? Although then the game would be fixed?
I have won a couple off £100+ off them though,

No obviously if it's random (as you said) it cannot predict payout, as my answer said before...Roulette isn't on the side of the punter (or it wouldn't exist!!)

The roulette games in bookies on cashquests or itbox's link up to a random number generator and are completely random regardless of the stake.
As someone pointed out earlier, the odds are against you from the start anyway so there is no need to fiddle it. 8) 8) 8) 8)

I've watched people on these in the William Hill's nr Pic station in Manchester. They seem to be a 'generous' way of gambling. I know the odds are against but with my brief encounter on these things simply trying to win a couple of quid its pretty easy..thats based on covering two out of three rows horizontally. Compared to fruit machines they are a wiser choice if you need a few quid. I think I'm right in saying I've never lost....when I pop in I try and win £3-4 to cover the cost of parking in the city centre....
Then again there is a possy of builders always on the thing and I've seen some of them lose quite a few £££'s.

Hmmm think you mean Vertical rows (as there are 3) ok so each row pays 2-1....Therefore place £1 on 2 and (Cost £2) one comes in you win £2...but there are 3 rows......so how's this generous???

but dont forget you get your original stake of £1 back if you win so effectively you are laying out £2 in the hope of winning £3

True, but if you put a stake on 2 of the three that means theres still a chance of Zero returns..........Simple maths really.....

yeah i know what u saying. Basically he's doing 2 £1 bets, both with odds of 1 to 2 ie bet 2 quid to win 1 quid. It is in no way guaranteed plus theres always the possibility of zero popping up which isnt covered by any of the dozen bets.

red and black only pay even money so if black comes out u win a pound overall, if red comes out u lose a pound overall.

before i quit gambling (of all sorts...) about a month ago i used to sit in coral and put 4 quid on 0 until it came it. would give me 144 quid. many a time i have been break even, and feeling sick at the thought that i lost 140 odd quid just like that but other times i have shoved about 60 odd quid in, then its come in, and then a few spins later its come in again. happy days.
but...it is a random number generator. is it f***. its like any old fruit. you put enough money in it and it will payout.
in fact its 6 weeks since i stopped gambling. go me. the fact that im off to africa on monday for 6 weeks had a lot to do with it.
but..and i know this is off topic, but anyone who wants to stop. just stop. resist the temptation. i found it fairly easy to be honest. and you should to.

Why not try it?...............you'll soon be skint believe me....
One sure fire way of winning is....Say Black...Bet a £1--it don't win so bet £2----that don't win so bet £4---then £8, £16 so on.........In other words double your bet 'till it come's up----good idea?????..........Nah--thats why casino's cap bet's, to prevent this kind of bet.
