One point to remember in the "is it random" debate, computers absolutely suck at picking random numbers, as do we humans.
Computerised roulette can never be an accurate representation of the real thing (Providing the house hasn't put a bias on the table that is...) so you could argue that it is never random, but its as random as it knows how to be...if that makes sense.
They're random enough to steal YOUR dosh, but on the flip-side they are random enough for you to MAKE dosh...funny that - almost sounds like gambling...no?
