Stack Attack Fruit Machine Error?

Hello, could some one help when eva i turn on stack attack fruit machine the alarm sounds an it says LCD FP ERR 68 any ideas how i fix this? Thanks in advanced.

Look in the top right hand corner of the machine just near the coin slot, behind the little perspex glass is an LCD display, turn ur machine and and check it says SEC 025, them goes to a specific number.

it says SEC 02E then goes to 0007500

In the manual it says LCD Meter Fingerprint Fault, not come across this before, check everythings plugged in on the back properly etc.

Every thing seems to be plugged in fine an there was nothing wrong with it when i last turned it on about 2 or 3 days ago an havent move it or anything since then

Not seen a machine give that error before,
but in the tech docs for the LCD meter it does actually report such a fault,
most machines will ignore the fault as it's not considered critical but in your case it looks like the software was done that way

In short - new meter.
Ebay - £4 - ask the seller to test for Fingerprint Fault - I know that he can ;-)

Vram with in the meter mucks up ,or by clearing the mpu5 game ram which just go`s for a walk some times aka Ram Corruption
.._-=It`s not a problem only a challenge =-_..

ok thanks Would it be easy to replace the meter as im not too experienced with fruit machines Also would it be best to try clearing the mpu5 game ram first an if so how would i go about doing that thanks in advanced.

Yeah thats the one the StarPoint Electronic Counter hence (SEC) these are they only meters UK fruit machines use now, apart from the old electro mechanical ones!

Thanks but how do you get it out it dosent seem to come out easily do you need to unscrew anything first?

There might be a small white tab next to it you have to pull outwards and the old meter will pop out, has it fixed the problem?
