Not just England..its been a shit tourney so far..you have all these world class players..Messi..Rooney...Van Persie etc..but they just dont work as a team.

England are what 8th in the world..Algeria are probably 56th in the world or summat just above Scotland lol..but who played the better football last night.

Granted it was a crap game..but Algeria had the better possesion better passing etc..England at the moment are just not 'bonding' as a team.

Its one of them wierd tourneys where no team has 'stood out' Germany..France..Spain...Brazil..Holland..they have all been crap.

Might end up being one of them tourneys where a total diddy team win..Mexico...South Korea...Slovakia..just hope the footy gets better as the tourney goes on.
Mmmmmm...Sandy ive 'ad her ye know. :)

Well it's the morning after the night before and i'm still fuming with the pathetic excuse for a match. 93 minutes wasted sat in front of the tv when better things could have been done with the time, maybe the coach should have em training for 12 hours a day instead of em sloping off playing golf.None of the team look happy with their positioning, maybe gerrard should be onto cappelo and tell him to get his head out of his arse and let the team play were they feel more comfortable.

Cappelo says heskey is a great player, yet all's i've seen of him is getting his legs tied up with the ball or sky booting it into the top stand.I have to say it but even gerrard was a shadow of his former self constantley losing the ball, tripping slipping.Truthfully they looked like a pub team who have turned up on a saturday morning still hung over from the night before.

So on a whole the team was shit,no excuses!!.Some players from different teams are bmlaming the ball for bouncing to much,if this was the case that problem should have been sorted within the first couple of days training.I have to say this is the worst england team performance since the days of graham taylor, the managers forcing top players to play postions there not happy with and it shows on their faces.I've got a gut feeling that by thursday morning the england team are going to be back home,i hope i'll have to say i'm wrong but i doubt it :skeptical:

They're going home, they're going home, they're going - ENGLAND'S GOING HOME.

Still, I've done nicely laying them on BetFair so I have to extend my thanks to the team, coaches and staff for their usual piss poor performance...

Theyr're as gifted as tits on a boar. Yet agin the Sun (who else) has hyped them up all season, after winning those useless 10 man friendlies and everyone's bought it. Have you ever thought the bookies deliberately under-price England to try to get loads of patriotic bets in the book, by suggesting through their price we are a better side than we really are? They always did it with Tim Henman at Wimbledon when he was never going to win a grand Slam event in a month of Sundays. Andy Murray is always a joke price. They were simply taking the piss quoting England at 6/1 second favourites at one point. Well done laying England, there are plenty of buffoons who'll back them over a cliff. The last England side to make me proud were Venables's side in 1996 - what a legacy of obscebe greed and jumped up chavism they've been since.

Before season 2009/2010 started I thought England had a good chance of winning the World Cup. I’m Scottish so that was not blind patriotic optimism, but based on the form of the players at club level, the teams qualifying performances, and the fact that most of the usual contenders have weaker teams than in past tournaments. However, during the season I changed my mind as the form of the usual squad members dropped considerably with only Rooney and Milner standing out.
I believe that the worst performances by English teams in the Champions League for years and the number of Premiership games lost by the big teams last season is testament to that. Yes, yes, I know most of their players aren’t English.
I’m not going to comment on individual players, but those who say they don’t try because they don’t need the money etc. are talking pure 100% urine. If necessary the players would pay their own costs to play in the World Cup.

Yes England has disappointed, but their not alone.

I only hope that the Vuvuzelas don’t find their way into the grounds here in the UK.
What we need is an eminent psychiatrist to say it’s a phallic symbol and the blowing of said instrument represents an unconscious desire to fulfill ones homosexual tendencies. I’m sure then we would soon see the numbers decline.
By the way, before anyone starts pointing their finger at me, I’m not homophobic.

Yeah i can see another point in that post,in 1966 englnad won the world cup and the lads were payed a mere pittance i would guess. Now these players are on tens of thousands of pounds a WEEK,it seems the moneys more important and snaking off for golf matches,i would think any english player would be proud to play in the world cup and do it for nothingI know one thing if the performance is the exact same as on friday i'll be switching off before the first half has finished. :skeptical:
