Hi all
My nephew has brought a fruit machine called Knockout, by Global.
When the fruit machine is switched on, an error code displays saying '0.1 pay alarm' The description says in the manual non payout £1 cash.
The machine doesn't have tubes but pays by a spinning hopper. the machine doesnt accept any coins at all, the money goes straight to the payout tray, and it cannot be refilled.
It works perfectly in open-door mode, but the machine just will not accept coins to either take credit or to fill.
Could any of you guys on here have any ideas what my nephew needs to do? It is the first time we have had a fruit machine and haven't got a clue... so any help from you guys will be gratefully appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Maybe as a start off you could see if the hopper box is clipped in proper and all sockets are in order. It could also be a jammed £1 coin in the hopper, when the doors open try putting the machine in coin test, that way you;ll beable to see if the hopper spins in coin test.Hi all

When in Coin Test the hopper doesn't spin at all and it still isn't accepting any coins, both to feed the hopper or to play it.
There is power going to the hopper because the test switch works at the side of the hopper. The top bit where you put the coins in, there is a green light that is lit, so power is going to it.
Any more help would be gratefully appreciated - thanks for your reply Tommy, but still no joy.

One more try, there shoulkd be a dump hopper button in the bottom of the machine were the cash boxes are.put a refill key in the switch turn it then press the dump hopper button,i think the button should be green if not it will be red. That should then dump the float eliminating that the hoppers motor han't blown.other than that i wouldn't know sorry.

Depending on the technology inside the machine is what the problem is going to be.
If its Epoch then a jam/opto could be at fault.
If its Eclipes onestop then you need to see what it says on bootup. E.G. NVA??? Coin mech??? hopper???
If the machine does as listed for the Eclipes then the hopper or coin mech could be at fault as being serial there all linked in.
Good luck.
