Firstly, I've got to say a massive thank you to all you guys in the hard work and valuable time you give providing all these emulated classic Fruit Machines. Cheers.
I've played quite a few variations now and while I've probably just scratched the surface with about the 20 I've downloaded from here. Already I'm sorting out personal favourites. No doubt, I'm missing some real gems out there to add to the collection!
I think what's shocked me the most is FMFE recording how much you've put in, won and loss! Yep, loss a fair bit. Thank gawd it's not real money lol.
Anyhow, here's my personal favourites so far. Obviously, everyone has different taste but I do prefer FM's that has masses of extras and features to keep me busy lol.
Viva Espana
Eastenders
Coronation Street
I'm a celebrity
Snakes and Ladders
Smash and Grab
Rich and Famous

my favourites must be........austin powers, arabian knights, cop the lot, king kebab, king ko,paystation, vamp it up, paystation, psycho cash beast, spiker the biker, the spice is right, big banker, caesars palace and pot of gold, but the list could go on and on to be honest. these were the games which i used to win all the time on in the boozers and they always paid for my nights out.
Regarding the people who make the fruitys and emulators on here are doing a great job and its appreciated. I do find that the donations that they are asking for to help with the gerneral running of the site is a shame for them. I dont mean asking for donations, i mean the lack of donations. Ive had literally days of fun since i came across this site a few weeks ago and i also brings back memories, and im sure its the same for most people who use the site. So what i dont understand is why there has only been a handful of donations. i donated just a fiver in the first day comming across this site as i was so grateful for all this free entertainment, and i know how much effort and time must go into doing these fruit machines and emulators, and surely people must feel the same, so why cant people donate a bit more or even just donate a fiver like me. a fiver is jack sh@t to most people and with 15,000 members and only £30 odd pounds donated is an absolute joke. come on people imagine how much better this site would be(not thats its crap)if everybody donated a fiver. wheres your gratitude? also if people have a computer/laptop and internet then surely they have a fiver spare as having a pc and internet is just a luxury? may i add that i am not associated to this site in any way and dont even know anybody on here as im a noob to this site, its just i think its a joke that only £30 odd pounds has been donated for free stuff that keeps us all out of trouble.

You raise some great points there, roggleboggle. I did notice the donation section well before I registered with Fruit Emu. I'd be more than happy to pay but personal circumstances prevents this (I do have a PayPal account). At least for a while.
While users can't theoretically be "forced" to make a donation, I do take a keen interest increasing own knowledge of emulators, how this is all done (emulated FM's) and so on and like to think I'll be able to give something back to the community. Maybe assisting with testing, providing help for others, etc, somewhere down the line. I seriously believe that most users tend to think the "Donate to Fruit Emu" is invisible. Whilst it can't be "pushed in your face" so-to-speak, maybe a link somewhere to a page that explains what the money is used for. (I believe it's towards hosting costs?).
The problem with voluntary donations is that you have to define a line. If you had to pay to download any FM's, users will look elsewhere, unless, Fruit Emu was the only place to obtain these. In this site, there is a limit to what can be downloaded per day (and need to be registered). No doubt I'm not alone in waiting 'till next day before downloading more. Also, how many users have registered just to download but not actually posted (contributed) anything in forums? Again, you can't force users.
Gone off-topic, this, errrr, topic lol. Without sounding contradictory to what I've typed above, I will take a look at the slots you guys mention in a few days once I've sussed out the ones I already have, inside out.

There are many ways you can provide for the site. Donations, providing resources such as good quality photos(machine must be off) flyers, ROMs, designing and testing layouts, or just posting and making the place an active place to be
As for slots, well I have a varied variety.
Cabin Fever
Note Exchange
Sheik yer Money
Club Royal Flush
Berserk
Fortune Wheel
Each Way Shifter

Firstly members should NEVER be forced to make a donation. It's a choice and should stay that way. Also there are numerous members that contribute to the Scene (Scene is bigger than just this site alone).
It's not only Layout creators that deserve credit, it's numerous other's that have no fancy colours on the name but are every bit as important (when you have been around a while, and see the other sites you will know who and have the same respect as I do for these chaps). There are a lot of people that contribute a lot that don't even post here (that's why I said Scene). Their contributions are arkwork, buying machines (sometime group buys which shows the good spirit of members clubbing together to save a rare machine forever), supplying roms, tech help, manuals etc.
Also this is Duplu's site so I personally don't see why he has to explain where the money goes. It's a choice, so if you don't want to contribute don't, if you do, well that's good for FE, but don't go asking where the money goes, do it for the love of the site (I'm sure that Duplu puts most if not all back into the site - But I'm not sure and I would never ask). The time Duplu has spent on this site with all it's changes, deserves the respect for me at least not to ask that question.

You're right, it's none of our business to know exactly where it goes. Just a suggestion more than anything but you've put it into excellent context. Thank you. Also this is Duplu's site so I personally don't see why he has to explain where the money goes.
It's also good to know that contributions can be made in other ways too, as CrAzYbAr mentioned in post.
