As always Guitar, just wondering if Sinbad can be done this way. I only ever found this machine in one place would love to see it again even tho it was probably crap! lol.
Probably. Only way to find out what runs or doesn't is to try.

Sinbad was a decent little machine I played on this a fair few times. It was one of the later BWB to be released if I remember correctly.

Im trying to find how to feed the numbers into MFME. Easiest way is to alter the chr till % stops working.#
I just won £106 from £20 but just want to make sure the machine wasnt due a massive payout. Although given its £5JP I think thats pretty conclusive.
Edit: Keeping Test held down starts Soak test.

Sorry, don't keep test depressed, press it after the game boots, you should be able to go through the seperate test options until you reach %. Not sure if this doesn't work.

Fire and Ice! Great work mate, that is an awesome breakthrough. I'm happy to offer classic layout assistance - any time.

Ah yes but surely the only rom to try is one 'modified' by yourself to be accepted in MFME. Would I be anywhere near if I suggested that you beat the BWB CHR similarly to the MPU5 loophole?Probably. Only way to find out what runs or doesn't is to try.
Good news everyone, you have to play a chipped DOND!

The ROMs are NOT MODIFIED. The CHR is simply put into MFME via the CHR editior in V2.0, and then plays in V3.2.
You just have to know what numbers to put where.
See this just means that for YEARS we have had the tools to do this and noone could work it out. And you dont even need a leaked emulator to do it with. Which means Tiburoned was right all along.
There is no loophole in BWB security afaik, believe me I have tried to find one. Lets just say that if you spend a couple of yars trying to break the CHR, then you manage it, and you then load up the super league CHR in MFME. You will notice a pattern. Copy said pattern for other ROMs and hey presto BWB in MFME, no Hacks, no ROM modification.
I would tell you how to do it, but there's no point as most wouldnt understand the process anyway. Its not super simple. Although build 6 of project amber now has a CHR Export function. Just load the ROM, Run until it says "found BWB", export the CHR.
And subject to some testing when I get home, I belive I can fix the percentage in MFME too. Shame I cant say that for Project Amber.

So where do you extract this file to and what are we seeing??
I aint a clue what you are all on about apart from the names of the slots-Pyramid-wow to have that as a playable emulation would be amazing.
You are not seeing anything. It is just a test to show that certain BWB roms that haven't previously worked in MFME are now doing so - it isn't a layout at all. Just a test.

You load the new CHR in MFME2, using the Character Editor. Once loaded, save the layout and then load the saved layout on 3.2
