Roughly 5'10"x28"x28" @ 120kg's Rob....
I have got a club Crazy in a small hatch with the back open (unlatched) before.
Take a quilt/sponge (to place between the machine and car metal) and plenty of strapping with you, it will get in there but theres nothing worse that not being able to secure the boot lid.

That will poke out of the back, thats the car I used!!! (if you bought my old One) the cam belt was good when I sold it I promise! lol
Jokes aside, yeah you'll be fine...Just be VERY careful of the top glass, hence the padding should you decide to put it 'top to the back'.
It's top heavy you know but you'll end up with around 8" poking out (with the top of the machine towards the front of the car), what I suggest is you place it so the bottom of the macine is at the back and 'wedge' it in the boot door clasp and tie that down.
Remember to take some plastic if it looks rainy where you are or you'll have a wet boot!
Let us know how you got on, mabey take some Pics of transporting it for other members?...only Pics have is of nails laying in the back of his motor and the machine to the side of his car!

An estate car, and only one machine, easy.
Try two in a hatchback...
Isnt the original cops n robbers Sys 83 in the short cab anyway?
