Counds like the opto needs a good clean on the reel,it's the little black tab on the inside of the reel housing.best bet wouldbe to use a dusting rag and gently clean it,and that should solve your problem if dirt and dust is coverin it.Hi on my up n over machine i have started to get a couple of errors and was wondering if anyone knows how i can fix them they are

if that fails the tab sensor has gone, give us the numbers off the tab and we will find you a new one!

Just to add on this post.
Using a cotton bud on the opto can help get in as its fiddly and the best way to see if its really an opto fail is try changing the 3rd reel opto to another reel and see if the fault moves.
Another could be the tab the opto reads has moved or been knocked somehow.
Best wishes
Stu.
