hi i hope this is the right place to post this
i am having trouble with the program everytime i try to load it up i keep getting a message that pops up saying directsound initialisation failed so i got rid on that one and downloaded a new one and its still doing the same it is the all in one mfme emulator hope you can shed some light on this for me thanks in advance all (blueboy)

Think this is most probably the Realtek AC97 soundcard problem...your drivers need updating before MFME will work properly.

Wouldnt do any harm to update your DirectX version as well to the June 2010 version.. http://www.filehippo...nload_directx/.

you could be right there todd,but i think the more likely probability is that he has NO sound driver installed at all - i had the same prob a while back and it was only when i checked in device manager that i realised i hadnt installed the sound drivers
