£50 is about right.......I've seen Andy Capp [most varients] listed at £40 start prices not sell :o

Nevertheless, fruit machine ownership is a great deal of fun, unless, as is the case at the mo, Spiker makes a stupid buzzing noise and precious little else :p

As long as it is trouble free, £50 is a great bargain - but you want to make sure things appear 'ok' when it arrives - don't forgeyt that its about 100kg, and if its knackered when it arrives, its 100kg of shite lying in the corner - don't forget to point stuff out that seems odd!

If you ever need help on settings, such as Stake/Prize, where to get spares from, e.t.c, don't hesitate to ask us!

Owning is sooooo cool !!! Duty free is a good machine no too different to 'Viva Espana' - my second machine and and still a fave of mine...

In fact (as i'm pissed) here's a list of the fruity's i've had...

Flash Cash
Viva Espana
Rocky Horror Show
Cluedo
Place Your Bets
Impulse
Trivial Pursuit
Maximum Overdrive
Frenzy
Lotta Luck
Temple of treasure
Sheik Yer Money

and soon

HiLoWatha
Ultimo

Jesus - i'm a sad mother! Barcrest are still supreme (even tho the shite released recently gives um a bad name) - JPM - forget it. But recently BFM, mazooma, etc have had some good products. Even MAYBEGAY etc have some strength - i think all of Barcrests talents are lost in VIVID and RED gaming (no surprise there as a lot of talent from JPM's golden area is now there !!!)

Thought I might as well revive the old thread...

Picked it up today, works perfect, just need to find manuals for it oniine and stuff (or how to operate the inside bits, hehe)

If anyone can tell me any basics it would be VERY much appreciated (simple things like putting on free credits? changing percentage, etc)

and oh yeah,

WOOOOHOOOO, I own a fruitie!!!! hehe, been playing it for last hour (atm im using a 50p piece going in straight through to the bottom and putting on credits that way) :)

Changing the percentage is done by fitting a new percentage key,
Setting a new jackpot/price of play is done by fitting a new stakes and prizes key or alternatively on older machines (i'm too young to remember!) By altering the dil switches on the main board.
Test credits are earned either by pressing the test button (on the main board) twice or holding it in til it beeps (i forget which)
If you need any help then giz a shout (i'm a qualified engineer, there are some cowboys about!!!!)
