Hey everyone I was told by a friend the other day that pub fruit machines are soon going to have a slot to put your credit/debit card in is this true, I'm thinking not cause if people start doing that then the machines will never get full up so how would they ever have money in them to pay out.

Most of the new machines in some pub chains I believe are opting for ticket payout.

You then take the ticket to the bar and collect your cash from the staff.

Oh didn't know that, so the debit card thing could work then

Quite possible.

You think how FOBT's work in bookmakers.... they already have a chip reader fitted, and use a paper slip pay system, so the idea is not exactly new.
