Its really not a problem,

as far as I was aware, it was not and has not been a problem.

I don't need or want abuse or mud slinging, I would rather the matter closed and move on,

I'm only retired.......from the rio scene

I will say one thing, this is the best sort of tool you could own.

although I use purchased software from years back (old ver of acronis) and the old computer way ie so I know it works in the correct MK PC, this is possibly much better, and easier for the layman I would have thought, don't buy it on my say, just something along these lines. will just clone most drives for you, ie for oem ect ect. which is perfectly legal if you are replacing the hdd for various reasons.

& for backing up, or even as a 2 bay caddy, even clones stand alone no pc required,

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item35cbbb4abb

basically you need older dual ide which should do the job just as well as software and a computer.

really there is no hard feelings.....................

I took delivery of my new Grand Casino Rio machine yesterday and well pleased....its a beast :)

I will not be adding extra games on this time as I don't wanna mess her up.

She has a mk6 PC with intel Celeron processor at 2.9ghz and runs fantastic and JPC note accepter too.

If anyone wants I have 2 disks with bpak files on: disk 1: Rainbow Riches B3, Cashino 500 & Elvis Top 20

                                                                             disk 2: B3 Monty Python & The Holy Grayle7, B3 Grand Casino7 & Rocky Balbonus.

If anybody wants these 2 disks I will send them too you free of charge, these are disks with bpak files which I used on my old Rainbow Riches Rio but will not be using these on my new Grand Casino machine even though they are safe.

Just PM me with your name and address and I will send the disks to you :)

Yours, Gav.

Wow Gavin I've got the mark 5 version of your machine with added games on demo which all work, I'm about to move my office downstairs and will have my second machine delivered soon. I bought both from Stuart. So the mark 6 is great, well I hope you enjoy playing you're machine. Like I  like playing my own. Just to let you know I've got some ghosting equipment now so if you need assistance let me know yours Terry

I really love my machine and after taking delivery of her last Tuesday I was like a little kid at Christmas, Im just a little gutted that I couldn't fit my top box on which came with the machine inside the cash draw as my ceiling is a tad too low :( but have that on display in my room.

I had to open the main top door just to have a look inside her and the mk6 pc looks brand new and is well quiet too.

Wouldn't get my machine from anyone else as Stu and Star Leisure are the best :).

Enhanced Rio Cabinets are the BEST :)

Hadfields delivered my machine too and will say they are top quality.
Stu and Star Leisure are the best.
May at some point in the future get a Party Time single player machine made by Astra to go alongside my Rio.

Hi guys,

Not entirely sure how true this current news is but sounds like Barcrest no longer exist after being completely dumped by SG Gaming/Global Draw....BASTARDS :(

Hey guys,
I think that news link I found about Barcrest Games on some site on Facebook is false
as it appears that the Barcrest name and brand is still clearly shown
and used on the SG Gaming site.
Best wishes from Gav :)

False? It represents my considered opinion - ever since the Barcrest domain redirected to SG Gaming, the recent amalgamation of Barcrest and another unrelated brand. I have seen before how these things tend to end when big corporate concerns take over, and it strikes me that it's an ill advised re-branding exercise that will lead to the complete loss of the name... I hope to be proven wrong but I will retain my doubts.

And I stand by my comments - if I go to the "Barcrest" website and then have to click another link, or wait for the crappy Flash presentation to scroll round, before I even see a mention of the Barcrest name, then I consider it to have been fairly well dumped. IOS users won't even see the Barcrest name on the front page because it's a Flash animation - it completely skips that frame!

Even if Barcrest as amalgamated with the two other companies to make one large company, isn't the important issue here, the important issue is to what will happen with the people who own Rio Enhanced Machines and the allocation of new and different games now they've decided to stop giving technological support to these machines, while they give important updates for 777 & 888 machines until they're deemed to old. Barcrest was in it's heyday a brilliant company  and they would have gone to the wall if it wasn't for the amalgamation. Just look at other companies JPM for example having to call in administrators. It's a pity you cannot get a backup catalogue of games from Barcrest or SG Gaming that will work on the Rio Enhanced machines. instead of just the odd game someone locates on another website. I'd  love to have the updated version of all my games on my machine wouldn't you.
