Just took a second look at Cliff's repo and the bpak files and it made me wonder what other games are out there for the Rio Enhanced machines. Other than the norm for example: Rainbow Riches, Elvis top 20, Elvis smash hits Cashino and Grand Casino. Monty Python. I have Rocky Balbonus and Lucky Strike thanks to Gavin and Phil  for their contribution but are there any other games that will work on a Rio Enhanced Machine that people have tried and tested.

Even if Barcrest as amalgamated with the two other companies to make one large company, isn't the important issue here, the important issue is to what will happen with the people who own Rio Enhanced Machines and the allocation of new and different games now they've decided to stop giving technological support to these machines, while they give important updates for 777 & 888 machines until they're deemed to old. Barcrest was in it's heyday a brilliant company  and they would have gone to the wall if it wasn't for the amalgamation. Just look at other companies JPM for example having to call in administrators. It's a pity you cannot get a backup catalogue of games from Barcrest or SG Gaming that will work on the Rio Enhanced machines. instead of just the odd game someone locates on another website. I'd  love to have the updated version of all my games on my machine wouldn't you.

Yes, very well put. It's difficult to say whether these machines eventually becoming obsolete will make the resources more or less difficult to get hold of. Time will tell...

I totally agree, really sorry for saying that post on Barcrest was false.
I would love to see the full catalogue of games available for the Rio Enhanced machines.
Barcrest as im aware stopped all technical support for Rio Enhanced machines a few years back but as for the
777 and 888 machines I do not know.
Many thanks from Gav.

No need to apologise, there's nothing wrong with a bit of debate. :cute:

I have to say that at the moment it's not quite as bad as it originally seemed... at least they are acknowledging Barcrest on the front page, even though it's on that silly rotating banner and you can't see it on IOS - that is more of an issue with bad design than it is with corporate identity.

However, I will be keeping a very close eye on the Barcrest brand appearing on new machines in the next few years... might be interesting to see what is on show at the trade events in the new year, although at this rate they are likely to be very sparse affairs...

I really like the Barcrest name and all the fruit machines they've ever produced but the best ones are the Horizon/Horizon 2 cabinets, Enhanced Rio & Triple 7 machines.

The best games franchise by Barcrest has to be Rainbow Riches with several different games and the best single game being Grand Casino, hopefully Barcrest will carry on producing fantastic games in to the future too  :)

Best wishes from Gav.

I'd kill (well, not literally) for a Monty Python, either the £35/£70 or the B3 in a Rio cabinet. Absolutely loved them, even if I never had a decent win (I think my best was a £150 from the Black Knight bonus) :)

One day I'll get one, but not paying the current going rate :o

I had a Barcrest sit down machine, it had Monty Python £500 in addition to loads and loads of other games (which all worked in real play, none of this demo mode nonsense) - I only paid £350 for it, and that was 2 years ago!

I got £5/£35 and £500 Monty Python in Rio cab Ben, all in real play, but they aren't for sale I'm afraid.

I think they are the most boring out of the rio games, closely followed by Grand Casino.... which I also have :)

I'm still looking for the £5/£35 RR card and chip though, to complete the collection :(

Hi there Phil my second machine arrived today. I've now got Grand Casino + Cashino 500 both from Stuart at Star.  When the machine arrived I checked the game content and Stuart had put a few games on for me like I'd requested soi I can have a play around all I need now is a few of the Cat C/D games to go on the machine. Like Monty python, cashino, Rocky Balbonus like I've got on the first machine

Yeah but Sec16 was a whole different ball game, and MUCH better gameplay.

Section 16 machines were fantastic but very rare now due to the current Cat B3 system :)

Used to love playing Haunted House on the CMS machines in my local Showboat (now Cashino) when they had progressive pots but then they were taken away and replaced with Enhanced Rios and Triple 7 machines.

Would like to add a couple of Cat C/D games to my machine like Rainbow Riches 5/35, Elvis Smash Hits & Rocky Balbonus but don't want to take the risk of messing my machine up.

I already have Elvis smash Hits & Rocky balbonus stored on my laptop but don't wanna run the risk of buggering up my pride & joy....my Rio.
