All I want is a 777 with rocky freespins maybe a few other games but will wait to see if Stuart ever gets one in at Star Leisure but at just under £6000 It'll have to wait a while for one of those. I'll begin saving in January and see what comes available but where do you look for one. What's AMG???? and what games are available?????

 

Same here mate but looks as though the 777s are still more popular than the 888s so the 888s could drop to a lower price one day than what the 777s are currently selling. There is a massive games library for the 777 cabs both £70 & £500 Jackpot versions and most of which work on the 888 too. The games are currently selling for between £1000 & £1500 a game for 777s but most have 4 or more games installed.

AMG Leisure is a firm who only sells machines to chain amusement arcades and casinos/Bingo halls and not to the public which I thought they did st first.

Thanks Phil, I'm going to remove the hard drive from both machines and copy one to the other so I can try my ghosting set up out I bought and I'll let you know the results when I've completed the work. I'm hoping everything will go like clockwork and there will be no problems. I start my college course next Tuesday to learn all I can learn about these and other machines and how to fix all faults, so when an error occurs I can fix the thing. Maybe this is the ultimate test ?????? Pass the course and get a job doing this for a living wow just the thought of being able to fix a machine (Any) sounds great.

 

I'm not sure you need to go on a course to learn to fix fruit machines, most of it is just common sense anyway. For example - jammed hopper - remove hopper and unjam, then replace hopper.

 

Easiest way to learn is just get a few machines and experiment.

777 cabs are currently between £5100 & £8000 and 888 cabs are around £9000.

Games for these machines are between £1000 & £1500 a game.

This is why I am saving as hard as f*** for one of these machines (excuse the language) as they have all the up-to-date software/hardware etc and games.

Hopefully both models will become widely available to the public soon and drop massively in price.

Until the day comes when I have saved enough dosh to get a 777 or 888 (whichever is cheaper at that time) I will always be happy with my Rio

I found out what RRLT in the £5/£35 version of Rainbow Riches means, it stands for Rainbow Riches Low Tech

Mabby2000 used to run an arcade but couldn't bring himself to let the 777 and Astra go
Don't forget the games run on a licence which is on each game, hence all his games are demo

I had the same problem just recently, to fix it I had to remove the hard drive attach it to my pc and update the image and it worked fine from then on

I may have an image but wouldn't have a clue how to send one to you or upload one that you could use. Have you tried Cliff's Repo there's an image file on there you can download I think. When my image went down I removed my hard drive

and my computer did all the work so wouldn't know what or how unless you have the knowledge on how I can help you.

Im sooo tempted but must not do it, currently the highest bid is at £410 with just over 3 days left on the auction (at time of posting this).

The ebay auction is for a Barcrest Triple7 machine with Rainbow Riches POG, Rainbow Riches PP, Big Bucks, Golden Charms and Rocky games.

The guy was approached by someone (not me) and asked if he would take £2,500 cash for the T777 and he said yes but only if it doesn't sell on ebay as the lowest he would accept is apparently £2,300.

what happens when the licence on these machine expire (are they 12 months per game)?

Im not sure mate, I don't think they expire. That's the good thing with rio games there are no licences

Had a bad experience with a Rocky free spins today made a mistake on the mickey's and lost the silver jackpot at £169.67 so when I got the Mickey's again I thought it would have moved to the third one but the machine repeated itself and I lost the silver Jackpot again altogether  a bad day but it still hasn't put me off buying one when they come down in price. The triple 777 on e-bay for auction maybe a con as several have been on there recently and have been bid on but as it's got 3 days left you watch who the winning bidder is just ask Phil he'll tell you about some off the cons. You see everyone wants one of those machines so whoever sells one on the cheap and £2300 is very cheap for such a machine as that with the rocky's on and a few other games. I'd only buy one from Stuart at Star Leisure when he begins to stock them when the price comes down. Like the new frontage shows you Crimbo is only 3 days away. Happy Xmas to you all from Terry
