I've got the bpak with Rainbow Riches pie gamble, but the problem is it won't run on anything but a 777, so putting it on any other type of machine will just corrupt the drive.

ah right i see, so not like monty python7 or grand casino7 then that does run in a rio in demo mode?

 

I would be prepared to try it if i could get hold of it as if it corrupts its not a problem for me at all

 

Has anyone tried rr7 on a rio? I would be interested to see the error code if it didn't work

 

The usual errors is a memory write exception if a rio cab tries to load a file its not meant to run, and a error in a tmp file if it gets a error it doesn't understand from  the mpu5. but all fixable!

Hi peeps,

Maybe a stupid question but how do I get my t777 working in real play mode and not demo play mode?

Do I just replace the demo games with my 5 games that have licences?
I have 9 demo games currently installed that only play with the cash door open.

1) Go to games menu

 

2) Disable ALL games

 

3) Load into slots 1-5 your five licensed games

 

4) Enable ONLY those games, and not slots 6-9

 

Shut the door and your good to go

I've just established that when you have the cash door open on the t777 it disables the coin mech and note acceptor.
If I wanted to keep the 5 licenced games on my t777 and just play them in demo mode I'm guessing I just open the cash door and press demo, if I wanted to install some demo games in with my 5 licenced games that would be ok too?

I can now CONFIRM that the rainbow riches7 software for the 777 cab WILL NOT WORK IN A RIO ENHANCED CAB in its current form, it DOES corrupt the hard drive! It is NOT like the monty python7 or grand casino7 software that does work!

no it doesnt corrupt the hard drive, it corrupts the barboot installation.

Hi all, I know I haven't posted for a while, but I was just wondering if anyone could send me a disk with the rio bpaks on, obviously would be willing to pay beer tokens for it. or where I can get them from on-line?

 

I don't have the machine yet, but as soon as I go, the drive is coming out for a ghost image.

yes that's right, its the barboot that doesn't like it, but to most it will seem it's the drive as it won't even boot into menus etc with door open, so they would be totally stuck. 

 

there a version of RR7 that does apparently work with a late version of the barboot and exec, but yet to find that

just dont load the elvis top 20 for the twin screen as it is for the sitdown version, or your have the same troubles as above!
