As these machines are relatively old now - are there any emulators for the machines that used screens not reels - Red Hot Poker, Reno casino, Monte Carlo, etc. Can't remember the manufacturer.
A favorite from wayback was called 'Mazooma Belle' (I think) - again had screen and pictures of reels - occasionally a small symbol appeared in the corner and it played a sound effect - if you knew what you were doing you held different combinations holds and you got great features/nudges etc - it was well ahead of its time in my opinion - it was great to play as hardly anyone knew what to do when the hidden features appeared!
Can anyone else remember it ?

Yes I remember it, one of the first video machines I played (not counting Deal 'Em type hi/lo + poker machines).

The other machines you mention are BWB I believe, and use video hardware attached to MPU4, so they are half emulated anyway. In theory video emulation shouldn't be that hard to do, after all we are only talking about a screen display on a monitor which is essential for viewing screen output on a PC anyway! The key thing is understanding how the video hardware generates the picture in the first place.

I think there is an issue with a lot of BWB stuff where the roms are encrypted, hence why we haven't seen things like Sky Sports Soccer emulated yet, not sure if these video machines were encrypted or not.

What is the situation with the video MPU4 games??

Sorry if this is an old question - Having just brought one wondered what the answer was?

Cheers.

It was called Mazooma Belle, with its non flashy flashy holds and marked cards etc

I think there is a ROM encryption issue with BWB machines though
Where you came from, is gone.
Where you thought you were going, was never there.
And where you're at right now, aint no good, unless you can get away from it.
