Here's the roms - the biggest problem is lack of any images of these at all,as far as I can remember rags to riches reel images are very similar to wheel of fortune, with the addition of moneybags jackpot symbols and two other symbols similar to crazy pays(double 7s and bars) - in fact if you load these roms into crazy pays layout the reel layout is the same.

Dave.

Reel 4 was simply the nudge reel Dave...I remember that One well, it was around early 90's.

Just has a play of this, and must be a different one from the one you played ady, cos the number reel on this is nothing to do with the nudges,it must be for "mixed bars" or similar
e.g in "free play mode" or "normal play" if you nudge in 3-6-11 on the winline, the number reel spins round and awards a different payout for that win.(hold them and see)
1 pays £2.40p
2 = 80p
4 =£1.60p
5 =£2.20
6 =60p
7 = £1.40p
etc etc
i recognise the sounds on this (when awarded massive nudges)and remember playing a machine similar to this(years ago)
but for the life of me i can't remember anything else, and don't recall one called *nudges xs"
hopefully this will refresh someone's memory.

Rags to riches use to be in smiths in cleethorpes, I think its just like crazy pays. If im thinking of the same machine it use to spin the middle reel in to mach the 2 outside ones. Its doing my head in tbh cos im sure i can see the machine in my mind but cant be 100 % sure.

Nah, the trick R2R had, was the special bar / 7 symbol, and nudge buster combo, which could do some big runs of anything up to about £50, on the £4.80 / 20p version.

JEM (James Mellor's) had one @ Long Eaton for many years, and it was almost always the first one I would visit, unless I knew it had paid out heavy.

The tec's keep giving me the run around as to saying if they still 100% have it at their lock up in Arnold, same as their old ACE Spellbound (4 reel video, with sidewind feature), as I would sell vital parts of myself to get my hands on it once more.

Just dropped the roms into the back of the Crazy Plays classic layout that Bugs / Trouty did, sodding hell, it's a fast game, just the way I remembered it, though it's not gone cash buster mad on me yet. Mind you, needs some cash ploughing through it first, but R2R was the game that Crazy Pays should have been, game style wise.

However, it suffers with the same sound problem as Wheel of Fortune, in that the rate needs to be tweek'd to 7000, but other than that, runs perfect.

Ohhhhhhhhhh the sounds though, especially when cash buster nudges hit home :)

rags to riches seem to be very similar to crazy pays,as for nudge xs I only ever saw one back in the early 90s, probably because they only ever made 20! - from what I can remember the jackpot was black sevens and it had red sevens for £3.

Oh thats just depressed me no end! if i had known they were that rare would have hung on to it lol. i used to own one in approx 1995, i dont think mine had a 4th reel tho mine deffo had a 2 digit LED for the nudges ????

Yes it was also deffo tubes £1, 20p and 2 token mine was £4.80 JP 20p

black 7's JP
red £2.40 ?
5's £2.00 ?
melons ?

cant remember the rest

oh and was in a strange short cab with a big XS on the belly glass.

Yeah this does use segs for the nudges, and has a 4th reel
wins are as follows
1 mixed 7's £1
cherries?? £1.40
melons?? £1.60
5's £2
red 7's £3
black 7's jackpot
also some images have overlays maybe "supers" or similar, and when you get 3 on the wiline(any fruits)
it spins in the 4th reel and pays out that win, so 4th reel looks like it has cash signs on? i would image it does.

Yeah I know of the 'Break the Bank' it was in a different cab, a cab the same as Bullseye etc. Firecracker was in the same cab as The Roll. It was definately real, I remember seeing one in Lowestoft many, many years ago when I was searching for Reno Reels and Monte Carlo's

There was a Rags To Tiches Club machine on EBAY recently. It was a Crystal machine though, like Tommy says. Is this the same machine you're thinking of? Only got a small picture of it from the auction.

no its not that one, i cant remember the manufacturer unfortunately because i played it in a snooker hall during my 'under age' years :biglaugh: but i distinctively remember the oblong board + it was littered with 'pay day' squares which were yellow + bumped up your wages!! the music samples were very modern considering im going back 20 yrs or so, by that i mean they wouldn't sound out of place today. the main board melody also played constantly during the feature! this is going to drive me crazy now,,,,, ????????grrrrrrrrrrrrrr :twitcy:
