I purchaed from ebay one of these disks to convert your existing game into another via adding the game to a USB stick and upgrading....
apart from monty python that works in demo mode only, i would seriously advise you do NOT upgrade your system with these games
at this point, i wouls seriously dis-advise anybody wishing to do the upgrade. the .bpack files that are provided are from a variety of platforms that are not written nor compatible with some systems. rainbow riches was a non-starter and told me a wrong version was installed, grand casino didnt work (produced some year after the original casino) and elvis totally crashed the system. when i say total i mean i had to remove the HD and strap it to my system and manually pick out the elvis files. upon reboot, the BARPAK system was able to boot into a `no games found` state and i was able to re-install the original cashino game. lucky for me, i know my way around windows and dos and was able to save the system from disaster, anybody else would have to order a new HD from barcrest.
That said, it was quite a novelty to see monty python running on a cashino base machine. the monster feature is identical to that on rainbow riches. i`ll list it on ebay over the next few days.

hi nails i wouldnt go as far as saying dont do it, but do it with caution. ie. clone the hd first. the rainbow riches they are selling is corrupt anyway, all games should work in demo on any barcrest video cab, as youve probably seen i got stung by fruitcrazy. i was trying to help out another member by uploading the bpaks then got sh*t on. if you or any other serios long time member wants the bpaks (disclamer dont use unless you have a backup hdd, just in case) PM me with your address for a dvd with them all on

You might want to check to version numbers,
I listed some on that 'sticky', and the files were lifted from a single machine that was running six games,
I have a feeling that the barboot folder was different on said machine as well (have that as well)

You will probably find that is not me.
You think you have my address ha ha. If you think you do the please come and visit.
All this bitching but it seems others are cashing in on it as well. All hypocrites.
Im just acting as a middle man for those who can be bothered to search around for them but sorry I forgot, you lot cant get this in your head. Look even you brought them Nails and you are on the site that provides them "free" Then bang you get a few working and now you are selling it.
I have had many satisfied customers, they have brought outside of ebay as they have wanted all the game files, and know they aint protected anyway as ebay and paypal dont cover intangible items!
I just hope that you all get a life and worry about your own shit and stop getting involved with others.
Its amazing how many addresses you can put on ebay and paypal and you can change the address to be sent wherever you like, so do you really think I would show my real address to people buying them when I know a few would be from here. NO
Eveyone on here goes around shouting there mouth off without thinking about what they are talking about, I was always told to never assume so I think you all should take that on bored.
I thought my account was getting deleted? PLEASE NOW DELETE MY ACCOUNT AS NOW REQUESTED FOR THE 4TH TIME.
Ow and to reply to another post I see about me not being ill as why would I bet scamming on ebay, just cus I have cancer does not mean I am in bed dying. I have mouth cancer and the only thing it effects is my eating when they do biopsy's. So many closed minded people here its unreal.
Im sorry I have made money from game files that I got for "FREE" And I aint had any letter or warning so far so someone dont care in the real world.
For £5.99 people are adding £100's to there machines. My old machine sold for £560 When they sell for £395 buy it now. So whos doing who a favour?
Im not forcing people to buy them just mealy giving them the hassle free alternative of searching the internet. And if members from here are buying them it just proves my point even more.
Glad I still had my account to say this, BUT NOW DELETE, The abby im sorry you got your "free" listing pulled down because you copied mine but was making £0.80p per sale. You call me vermin I would just love you to say that to my face. There is a lot of key bored warriors here but I bet my life savings that 90% couldnt back up there threats.
Thank you for such an amusing read while I was bored.

What a shame BARCREST's solicitors have already purchased one from you - and will be able to extract your real address from eBay.... Then you can deal with the vero part of BARCREST's solicitors and trading standards ..... If ya sell copyrighted material, ya have to be able to face the consequences of doing so.

Personally I have never seen a request, nor as a Mod/Admin received any messages.
We don't delete accounts here, but (as requested) removed the ability to log-in. Posts though will remain unless they are of a derogatory or explicit nature.
I hope your health improves and all went well.

eBay won't manually pull any listings unless they have been reported by the VERO member, as it looses them revenue.
Although I do know of 1 sure way that they will automatically remove ANY listing within 30 mins, and have used it a few times in the past.....

im not fussed that i paid for an image, infact the guy i delt with couldnt have been politer. i too was the victim of VERO, i had a monopoly golden game emptier system that made me nothing short of thousands @ 19.99 a time. then somebody starting selling them for .01p and that guy is in these very forums. i had the disc copyrighted, and it was only when ebay told me it was a `user argument` that i threatened to take ebay to court (and also published the guys home address) that he stopped selling them.
1p was an insult, infact ive since learned that youtube have increased the footage time to 15 minutes, so i`ll get to grips with placing it on the net for free.
all said and done, i wished fruitcrazy all the best with his enhanced sell. but he does seem to have gone off the rails, and looks like his wish to be banned has been granted. (he could have just not logged on!)
KDservices needs a big thank you from the fme community for helping it out with the resources - as its people like him that help FME survive.
thanks kd

Ok - well was looking at one of these this afternoon and i'm glad that i held off...
So - i have an Astra B3 (Party Games Slotto). After a good ghost of the HD, what can i expect to be able to run?? there 2 sellers as far as i can see....
Rainbow Riches £500, CD Rainbow Riches £35, Monty Python £500, Grand casino £500, Cashino £500, Elvis £500, Elvis top 10 £5-£35, Elvis smash Hits £5-35, Elvis one for the money £5-£35, CD Elvis road to vegas £5-£35
As far as i can see, these are all Barcrest, so i presume i'd be right in assuming that i wouldnt be able to run any (Shame since i'd love a Monty Python however cant justify the usual £500 going price for these )
Then folows - if i have an Astra, is there any way i could do this? Or would it be better just to get a barcrest machine...
Cheers
Paul

its my guess that all you could expect would be slotto, little devils etc etc BUT there is a huge chance that the USB dongle is software specific. stevedude2 is the guy to ask.
